Exoticas From Hookah-shisha.

Recommended Posts

So I recently ordered six boxes of exoticas and a nammor hose from hookah-shisha.com. They came in on Monday and all six boxes were perfect. The nammor is great and I couldn't be happier. The coals are fantastic, even better than the samples I received earlier. Anyways, I use a pipe cutter to cut the coals and it works perfect. Just thought I would share that with everyone. Here is a pic.

And here it is in action.

Thanks again hookah-shisha.

I use the serrated part on my Swiss Army knife, then snap the coals. I have done it with every Exotica i've used and it's the fastest. smile.gif

That Pipe thing.. wouldn't it splinter the coals?

I have a pair of tongs that is serrated on the sides, i use this sometimes but it gets messy.. Oh yea and the worst part is.. I get black shit on my hands when i snap em! WTF!!! haha j/k. Im just lazy.

Exactly how I cut my Exotica's also Zen.

The pipe thing just seems like overkill.

haha the serrated part ont he tongs isn't sharp enough, it does make one bloody hell of a mess. The Swiss knife is nice and sharp and clean cutting, you just score them about 1/4 or half of the way down the coal and snap it nice and easy. it's surprising how nice they snap aftr the scoring.

yeah, i don't wanna spend that much money on just splitting coals! I got that knife from some car i found it in, and i think it's perfect. I bet a steak knife would be just as good as well.

I just cut a quick line on one side of them with a serrated knife (just for direction) then keep the knife in there and smack it with a potato masher (it was all I had handy the first time... and I've just stuck with it) and it makes a nice clean break every time.

Man I don't know what all the work up here is. I just take a steak knife and just cut into it a little and break them up no problem. sure you get a little dust, try breaking up some bulk coals and get back to me. I barely even cut into the coal. You guys need to start workin' out or something. JK
I have been told I have a hell of a grip, must be from slinging metal around for 20 plus years.

I remember some people having difficulties and I was just giving an idea that might help them. If you already have a way that works great for you then awesome. Good for you. Different strokes for different folks!

I just score them a bit and from there I slam them on the counter at an angle. Usualy not a bad break at all. I tried a chop saw and the bath room looked like a fire had happened. It was the worst move yet. lol

I say HEY GABE WE KNOW YOU ARE LURKING HOW DO YOU RECOMEND TO CUT THEM??

Maybe he will come out of hiding and tell us his secret.
