mattarios2
Ok so I ordered these hoses last tuesday or maybe it was wed. well anyways I got them from hookahcompany and I beleive they were the last 2 they had 1 in red and one in blue, b/c once I bought them they took off those color choices on their website. Now after taking these shots I noticed that one hose (the red one) has a double handle action and is also alot shorted than the blue one (looong single handle but the hose is alot longer) Check out the pics ..Mouth tip with some little design work on itRed hose with the double handleblue hose with the long single handlethe ends of both hoses (btw what do those numbers mean?! codename? for 1 point!)the designs on the hosemore design shotslength of the two hosesclose up of the size differenceSo I guess my only questions are why are the 2 hoses diff lengths and have a diff. amount of handles if they both are supposed to be KM Ultimate hoses. It doesn't bother me I just wish the red one was long like the blue one.I haven't smoked out of these yet only b/c if you guys thought the size thing would be an issue or that shouldn't happen then I was gonna give George a call, so I didn't wanna smoke out of em in case they were going to be returned. But man I sure do love these hoses. Oh and btw both sides the wood side that goes into the hookah hose port and the metal tip both can be removed, I don't know why because the hose isn't washable. erufiku
The hose that came with my KM is really similar to the blue one... except for the tips, which are plastic in my case. I guess they put metal tips on the same hose and called it Ultimate? Congrats on the purchase, those are some solid hoses. Once they're spent you can actually split them open and replace the regular metal coil hose with vinyl tubing or something similar, et voila you have a washable KM hose (sans the flexibility...)ps: just my opinion, I think they're keepers. If you don't want one of them I'll buy it from you

But from some people on this forum that have the km ultimates they claim they have been using them for 2 years and still some just fine and don't get any pieces when smoking. So if and I repeat if they day comes when they are spent, I will def split em open put vinyl tubing in them, then re-wrap the fabric around the vinyl tubing and either use some sort of super glue or have someone stich the fabric.Just so curious as to why one would be longer than the other. SmokinMoose
The numbers are the Khalil Mamoon Telephone number in Cairo. The only reason for the difference in handles, is because these are handmade and the person making them could have had extra materials and decided to change it up. This is also a reason for the difference in length. As for the tip it is the choice of the purchaser, there is wide assortment of tips that Khalil Mamoon offers.Personally when I purchased my order of KM's I got the Ultimate hose and I decided to go with the plastic tips. All 40 hoses which I purchased were made 2 days before my shipment were sent out.

SmokinMoose
Because I bought 35 KM hookahs.
Giant Ninja Robot
I hope to God you have a lounge or are joking....Cuz imo 35 KMs is just silly...who needs 35 pipes? Maybe I'm just jealous lol but it seems a lil excessive.Umm, if you really did buy that many and don't have a lounge I kinda would like some insight into your madness though, so, uh, why? mattarios2
Looks better than a nammor, and uhhh they don't fall apart like nammors.Codenames sig of him blowing that massive cloud ... that was with an ultimate hose. When it comes down to it I prefer looks and quality over getting to pull on the hose 2 seconds less to get the same cloud. frost91
havent gotten around to using the ultimate....the nammor i got is great....doesnt fall apart.....but ill try it again. I just think that its more restricted than the nammor.....its got a metal tip....just my 2cents
Balthazar
I have two ultimate hoses, both with metal tips and wooden ends. Although I'd prefer the plastic-version I still think it's a better hose than the Nammor. Pulls a tiny bit better, looks way better, and feels better to hold. If it was washable it would be the best hose ever ... Edited October 5, 2008 by Balthazar
Hippo_Master
I prefer the restriction to the gaping open gauge of the Nammors. The restriction is in the mouthtip i have found, though, i switched the tips up on my KM and the Nammor.

It takes a bit of time for them to fall apart, doesn't usually fall apart instantly, usually happens after multiple washes. Also I prefer the old school look of the ultimate over the more modern look of the nammor/razan, just a preference.
