jaytoo3
Hey guys. Now i'm sure everyone knows how hard it is to clean a scalli mod after a good session. Now being that i'm on my second one from boiling and scrubbing it. I have some methods to keep it sparkling. The first was reccomended to be by Tarik from MNHookah. Basically dip it in some oil before you use it so it doesn't cake up as much. This has been working well for me and minimized my cleaning time a whole bunch so i keep a shot glass full of oil near me, dump it in and when i'm ready to pack i let the excess drip back into the glass and load up. You still have to scrub a bit after but not NEARLY as much as before. The other one i'm gonna try tonight is wrapping it in aluminum and then just removing the foil and rinsing it off when done. It seems promising and we'll see the results when i'm done. In the meantime here are some before and foiled pics.
Stuie
I just put mine in the dishwasher and use an SOS pad on what's left. Get's it about 98% clean.

mattarios2
I find as long as you scrape off most of it with a knife, even if there is some garbage on it it doesn't matter. With my glass screen I just scrape the thing and even if I can't see that it is glass, you know meaning most of it is black, I still use it and get the same exact results. Zinite
Boil it for 20 minutes. Throw your bowls in there too. When it's done, scrub it with any sort of scrubbing pad and it will be good as new.
