Cool New Hookah Base

Hey, I was shopping with the girlfriend at TJ Maxx, and was wandering
around the home goods section.  They had tons of glass containers
in all different shapes and sizes, and this got me to
thinking....Hookah base?  So I left my girlfriend to shop and went
home to get my hookah neck grommet.  When I got back to the store,
I tried the grommet in the necks of the various glass pieces until I
found one that not only fit perfectly, but looked awesome as
well!  What do you guys think?  My hookah is one-of-a-kind
now

You know what, I've thought of trying the exact same thing a bunch of times.  I could never quite find something that fit exactly on my stem though.  Kudos, that is definitely one of the coolest bases I've ever seen (and cheaper than an actual base I'm sure!)

gee..and we have one of them there tj maxx's here...off to the store.
Though to be honest i have one of the nicest bases I've seen anywhere..if I may be so modest...

thats actually funny i have two like lamp vases i want to use for my hookah i just havent tried fitting them up yet

a gatorade bottle works great, after breaking a bass i used thar for a while

wow, i went to tj maxx and also found an excellent vase for my
hookah... it's a little bit shallow so the stem goes almost to the
bottom, but hey, it works great... and my hookah is a mya acrylic so i
had to go buy an old-style grommet (And the fit is just a little bit...
off), but somehow it's airtight.  the shape of the vase is identical to
the hookah brothers genie-style vases, and it's got this awesome black
/brown crackled look to it.



(only 6 bucks !!!)
