Sumoninja92
Does Shisha have an expiration Date?
Chreees
Technically, yes. But in reality, it can last quite a long time. I haven't ever had tobacco sitting so long past the expiration date (Al Fakher is the only tobacco I believe I've purchased that actually had an expiration date on it, maybe Starbuzz too?), so I cannot tell you from experience. But usually they put a two-year-from-production-date expiration on AF and the such but many people say they've smoked it past that date and it's been just fine. So all I can say is don't just throw it away; try smoking it first and see how it is.
Hassouni
It just dries out, other than that it'll be fine
IainUM
i did lose flavor with some af before, which was disappointing... im pretty sure tangiers has a shelf life as well. some flavors last longer than others. i remember reading a huge list that described which flavors last longer or not on another forum
mitchard
I have some Sultan which expired in 2006. Smokes and tastes fine. A little dry but no more than normal Nakhla usually is.
UltimateHookah
I wouldn't worry about it too much, however, wouldn't it be better to get fresh product?

These are Eric's useful posts concerning shelf life of Tangiers:
Shelf Life of Tobacco Depends on the flavor... Based on Tangiers Flavors: High Shelf Life Mint Floral Flavors Chocolate Raspberry Blackberry Red Apples Kashmir flavors Apricot, Peach, Nectarine Passionfruit Horchata Cinnamon Clove Medium Shelf Life Green Apples Strawberry Blueberry Cherry Lemon Grape Some Licorice Flavors Tangiers Marigold Vanilla Guava Tea Flavors Short Shelf Life Orange Grapefruit Lime Pineapple Watermelon Some Licorice Flavors Pear Kiwi

High would be...indefinitely. Medium would be 6 months after opening. Low would be 2-3 months after opening. Marigold doesn't seem to have the same endurance.

Maybe. Probably not, though. Sealed, most stuff should be good indefinitely. If it's sealed in the old Polypropylene bags, it will lose potency. In that case, double the estimated shelf life for sealed polypropylene bags.
