for me ventilation is a great help in breathing and helps thinks better. maybe you just had a migraine? (i just guess, lol) or better if you quit smoking? sucking candy helps though.

Seriously, even though there is less nicotine in shisha than in cig tobaco, there is still nicotine in there. One of the side effects of nico poisoning is headaches. Maybe you just smoked too much.

Try adding ice in your vase to make the smoke a little lighter. They also sale special ice adapters as seen here http://www.socialsmoke.com/item--Ice-Bowl-...s--ICEBOWL.html for the same effect. I think its better because it wont melt in your vase and just add more water, plus it doesn't melt as fast. It taste a little cleaner to me, enhances the flavor, and it may last longer..but thats just my opinion. Try it!! :)

I heard quick light coals if you don't let them sit at least a minute or more until they are really ashed over and the coating that causes it to ignite is burnt off gives you headaches
