thanks for all the comments, wether or not i agree with them, the main point of me posting this here was to get some criticism on the HOOKAH. but yeah. the seal is the main thing i was looking for a solution or alternative method of getting a seal using electrical tape every time i smoke it is a hassle leave my dreads outta this.

theres nothing wrong with controversey anyway, im not at all dissappointed. smoking in itself is a controversey these days, along with many other things that should be disputed.

i honestly didnt even think people would freak in me at all like that. but i dont particularly care, we all make good choices. i find the story interesting and no one that ive told it to thus far has called me out on the theft. i guess its just one of those things. if my intention was to start controversy, i doubt i would start it off with: so i stole this candlestick...

you dont have to condone my actions. i mean in not normally the type to go around stealing shit. usually i am very opposed to it. but this kid was just suuuuuuch an asshole that at the time i almost couldnt help myself im almost positive that the candleholder is brass.

sooooo, i wanted to make a hookah for a long time. and at this party with my friend i saw this candle holder and i was just like YESSSSSS and so we stole it, because this kid whos house we were at is a douche bag and didnt know how to throw a rave. and then today, right before having people over, i found a used fishbowl nobody cared about soooo, i cleaned the fishbowl out with ammonia, then dish detergent, then i pulled out the candle holder, scraped as much wax out as i could with a coat hanger, then poured a ton of boiling water through it to get any remaning wax to melt out. i drilled a hole in the base of the candle holder and fashioned a valve and a stem out of a couple aluminum cans. i pulled the rubber pieces of of another hookah of mine, as well as the bowl and hose. found a way to get it all together without using any kind of glue just some electrical tape where the bowl meets the stem. because that wont get hot enough to release fumes and kill me, right? hopefully at least. it smokes really well, but if anyone has suggestions that would help in making it more airtight or anything please let me know. now that i have it assembled for the most part i plan on decking it out for a nice steampunk look, which was my first thought for a hookah and i just happened to be lucky enough to stumble accross the neccessary componets to assemble it. i dont know if it would affect your smoke that greatly but have you tried putting ice in the vase? i was smoking outside at a friends bonfire and the fire heated up the water alot which made the whole experience poor we went inside and raided his kitchen for ice and bam, nice clouds and a good session once again.

haha, its looking like even with this feedback the only way to really know for yourself is to try it. so im just going to have to eventually order some and try different things. i havent looked for this but has anyone tried smoking pipe tobacco out of a hookah? it seems possible but i have no idea, perhaps the tar would be an issue?

has anyone ever tried mixing Desi Murli with any other kind of shisha? i wonder if you did like 50/50 AF Pipe and Plain Desi Murli if it would make the slightly chocolatey pipe flavor promised by AF?

hmm, i read on the af website that it has a slight chocolate taste and was kind of confused because pope tobacco... does not taste like chocolate at all. but can you really taste the chocolate? pipe i would imagine could be kinda strong. i've heard of desi murli and am pretty sure im definately giving that a shot. would you suggest it plain or are there any particular flavors it comes in that i should also try? for $4 per 300g, i'm definately willing to order a few different flavors.

I am extremley interested in trying AF Pipe Flavored shisha. buuuut i wanted to hear some reviews or something before i ordered it to try it for myself i dont know if its just hard to find on the forum, or if nothing exists on the forum talking about it or maybe i am just having one of those days where what i am looking for is lying right under my nose. either way, i love the smell of pipe tobacco and would love to have something like that to smoke out of my hookah.

if you want to prove it to her just take a cig, cigar, whatever, take a hit, then blow onto a white piece of paper, you'll see alot of dark yellow, almost brown tar. do the same with a hookah, and you wont get anything.

where can you find these?

i think its something that just takes a bit of messing around with and personal preference some people would rather it just taste better while others would rather have huge clouds so they look like a boss. i would suggest that if you are going to add anything to it, that you should first smoke it as it comes, so you know how it is without anything, then i would divide it up and add different amounts or mixtures or whatever to it and smoke each and compare. experimentation, even if it fails and you end up just liking what was originally there, doesn't hurt anything.

so... adding glycerin could provide thicker smoke? what would be the perfect amount to add? it always seems like the shisha i get is either too dry or soaked.
