1. QUOTE (ghostofdavid @ Feb 5 2007, 04:14 PM) Jewish Christians were definitely considered very Jewish. In fact, they appeared so similar John "Golden Tongue" demanded that third-fourth century Christians stop acting so Jewish so that they would seem a separate faith. Roman, the ruling agent, saw no differences in early Christianity and Judaism. I spent 4 years at a Catholic high school, I know . What I meant is that from the Jewish point of view, they were not Jewish any longer. On a side note as I said in a past thread about Israel/Arab issues, this is a highly incendiary subject, with deep-running takes on the issue and the chances of changing someone's oninion on the issue who has already made up their mind is impossible. You can't change anyones mind, they change their own mind. You can only hope to show some reason to people who are ignorant on the issue - like the person who began this thread by calling a place Palestine, which is only a place in Muslim minds... azcoyote and benny, keep up the good work
2. Sothert said, "One person pointed out that there are no jews in muslim governments and another one pointed out Arafat having a rabbi on his cabinet...who's right? Get together and come up with an aqgreement which is correct!" Just to clarify, I said there ARE no Jews in Muslim governments. Are is present tense in the English language. There WAS (past tense) a "rabbi" in Arafat's cabinet, but these "Jews" are no longer part of the Jewish community. They are cut off. (See recent news articles about the group being protested and kicked out of hotels, etc.) They can be equally be considered Jewish as can early Jewish Christians can be - which is to say, not at all. ------- Also, the evidence that there is a need for the wall is the drastic drop in Muslim terrorism inside Israel since its erection. If these people weren't so hateful and savage, then there would not be a need for them. The wall wasn't build in 1948, or 1987, or 1973 or any subsequent war. It was build after one too many terrorists came to attack innocents, because their "government" not only didn't stop them, but actually supported them (Arafat).
3. There are Jews and Arabs/Muslims on both sides of the wall. So this in and of itself debunks the myth it's apartheid. Not to mention the more than 1 million Muslim Israelis living inside Israel proper. Not to mention the new Cabinet Minister in Israel - a Muslim Arab. How many of the more than 20 Muslim countries have Jews in their government? Want to talk about apartheid, think Mecca where infidels aren't even allowed in the city, not Israel where any religion is allowed. You should talk to the Israeli Arabs and see if they enjoy their freedoms not afforded to them in Muslim countries. What I have mentioned isn't even debatable because it is simply fact. Not speculation. And by the way, the "Palestinians" aren't "boxed in" in the majority of cases. Only a few places are boxed in. Look at your handy "apartheid wall map".
4. I am a little anal, but on a side, I've only used it two or three times and thus washed it accordingly. Furthermore, I haven't used it in over a week now so thats not part of it either. I'll just wash it less, and be a little more attentive I guess..... Thanks!
5. I have cleaned it, but only with vinegar (one time) and lemon juice another. I never used a brush in it... i guess ill try that....
6. I just bought a new hose a few weeks ago because my unwashable hose was washed (before I knew I couldnt...). Anyway, after two uses - it has begun to rust. (orange water comes out of the tube when I put water in it, as well as little chunks of some metallic, yet sandstone-soft seeming substance. What should I do? I bought it from HookahCompany.com Plus I'm about to smoke, can I still use it since its only a little rust? *cry*
7. AF Apricot: It's a simple review, but it tasted literally identical to fruity pebbles. Two others confirmed it. Used MYA hose, clay bowl, Enginner nargila from hookah-shisha
8. I'm interested in making my own shisha also, just dont know the amounts of each ingredient. Also, does it matter what tobacco is used? Just pipe? Just a certain type of pipe tobacco? ?יונתן אתה יהוידי
9. I just received my 250g tub of cappacino yesterday and just compared mine to your picture: The placement of the logo is diffent - mines to the left, and the actualy word cappacino is incorrectly spelled on both our tubs, but theyre spelled wrong different ways. heh. I'm pretty sure it's fake, just based on my experience dealing with authenticating cigars.
10. Thanks, you make me feel a lot better now, since I have been anticipating their arrival for days now
11. I didn't know really where to put this, so I decided to make a new thread: I just received my Al-Fahker apricot, cappacino and cola. There are dates printed on each box. Are these dates of manufacture or expiration dates? I assume they are dates of manufacture, but I read before on a post about "shisha smoked past expiration date". Btw, all 3 dates are well in the past: May 2006, May 2006 and Dec 2004...
12. I wonder why aging shisha doesn't work well like aging cigars... You would think that because both are tobacco products they would. Maybe it's the different curing processes.
13. What's the optimum thing to do with shisha? With cigars, its at the very least it's NICE to age a cigar for 6 months. With time the cigar gets much better, up to about 10 years when it begins to lose flavor. Should I age my shisha some?
14. My favorite is hefeweizen...first tried it in Germany on a trip there last summer... mmmmmm
15. Would you use charcoal or natural coals to do this? Also, natural vs. charcoal - what's the concensus?
16. I meant flavor, but buzz is a positive side effect in my book.
17. Which brand generally has the strongest tasting tobacco? I smoke cigars so I'm more used to a strong taste. So far I've only had Romman grape and peach (grape was noticably stronger than peach) and I just ordred 250g jars of Al-Fakher cappucino, apricot and cola. How are they?
18.
yup if it actualyl touches the screen than youll have that happen. Since i resuse my screens quite a lot, i tend to pack my tobacco down well. Just lightly fill the bowl up to the top, then pack the tobacco down. After that use a toohpick or the poker on some tongs and push up through the bottom of the bowl, through the tobacco. Hold the tobacco down with your fingers so the toothpick/poker will go through not just push it back up. This will give you a good amount of airflow but still keep it from touching the screen.
Good idea. I never have packed it before, because I always assumed it would be too tight. Thanks everyone!
19. Somewhat of a newb question from a newb but, after I finish smoking and I go to clean out the bowl, when I pick up the metal screen, there is always a decent amount of tobacco that is burnt and stuck on the back side of it. Is it supposed to be like this? I dedfinately do NOT put a lot of tobacco in the bowl in the first place, but it's just a regular small clay bowl (statdand size).
20. Since it's the season, I would LOVE to have some pumpkin flavored!
21.
No, I'am not arab. I'am jewish, any other fellow jews here? lol
אני יהודי

I always thought it was funny that Hitler was not even close to meeting his own so-called "perfect race".
I read that by his own standards Hitler would be considered a Jew. Not sure if that's true or not. My history teacher told me that he had Jewish blood in him either way.
Statistically, anyone living 2000 years ago (and therefore before), who had a child is an ancestor of every living person today. Obviously there would be a few outliers in this, but for the most part, this is the case. It's amazing what you can learn in your textbooks when you read them... So really, everyone has far more mixed heritage than we think.
