I've noticed some people in the thread talking about mnhookahs and how its Canada friendly. Yet, I've seen people in other threads talk about how you should email the guys first and tell them to ship it as a gift to Canada. Anyone able to set the record straight? Is it necessary to mail them before hand to tell them, or have they got the Canada thing down?

Planning on making another order whenever my next GST refund cheque comes in (hooray! My room-mate just informed me that it comes in January!). Thinking about doing 250g AW After Nine, 250g AF Cappuccino, and then maybe 50g of AW Orange Cream or something. Cant wait!

I usually take a square of tinfoil, place that on the burner, place the coals on top of the tinfoil. Heat for around 5 minutes (until the coals are all red)

Anyone ever heard of the brand? The owner of the tobacco store I buy my gear off of recommend them. I made sure they were made in Japan, and I think 60-70 squares (in blocks of 6) came in the package. Lit up in about 5 minutes on the burner, and didnt add any flavour to the smoke. Just wondering if anyone has used them, and what their thoughts were. Oh, one last thing. After they were lit, the silver coating seems to flake off and disintigrate into ash if I grind them between my fingers after the coals have lit. Is that typical of Japanese coals (just want to make sure it doesnt have the faux-covering like some of the Chinese ones are alleged to have)

I dunno, I bought a mya hose from him and it seemed to be in good order. Although that there is pretty much proof that he was taking you for a ride

Isnt AF Cappuccino supposed to be furiously smokey?

I probably average 2 bowls per week (which can either be in 1 session with friends, or 2 alone)

I think that might be new packaging because I've bought it before from shops and had it in the plastic, and then I just bought it recently and it came in the sealed foil

AF Strawberry Setup: Mitsuba w/ mod bowl and mya hose Coal: 2 3K liquid in vase: Cold water from fridge dispenser. Foil: 2 layers, lots of small holes poked with a small nail. Cut: Seemed very fine. Very moist. Smell: Friend said that it smelled like those campino strawberries and cream candies, and he nailed it! Smoke: Threw 2 coals on the edges and let it sit for half a moment and then it was going in no time. Very smooth, cool, and thick. Flavour: A candyish strawberry. Definitely has the presence of something buttery or creamy. Buzz: Going to have to agree with the above. I'm used to smoking unwashed, and I'd get a nice buzz every once in a while with this. Rating: 8/10. Could have used a bit more strawberry, a bit less cream. Friend really enjoyed it.

Try using a second layer of foil on the bowl. It seemed to cure what was ailing me
