1. Someone left a Mya QT in front of my work... mine now.

2. UPDATE: There are two sites presenting themselves as AF vendors online: http://www.alfakher-online.com/?q=en (with a hyphen) and http://alfakheronline.com/ (without a hyphen). The latter site is much more navigable and seems better stocked. So which is legitimate? Or is neither one a true AF affiliate?
3. I am always trying to find sites to purchase shishas and tobacco from and today I came across this. It seems legitimate, but I would like to make sure before I try to purchase anything. From alfakher.com, there is a link to a US distributor named Sierra Network, Inc. On their site, there is a link to http://www.alfakher-online.com/ (which is also on alfakher.com). Has anybody used this site to purchase? If so, what is the shipping like?
4. Thanks to everyone for the recommendations. I will hopefully be putting in an order soon either through H-S or John.
5.
Hey man I'm in Nova/DC too. Where is Khan el Khalili? Duty free shopping from the Middle East aside, I usually get my tobacco and coals from the many Lebanese or Persian stores around --Assal Persian Supermarket in Vienna has lots of Al Fakher and other tobacco too. Gourmet Basket Lebanese store, in McLean, has really cheap Coconaras, cheaper than online. There are also two shops in Adams Morgan that have hookah stuff, one is called B&K Newstand, and the other, not sure, but its a little hole in the wall on the same side of 18th street with hookahs in the window.
Khan El Khalili 5826 Seminary Road Falls Church, VA 22041 They don't have a ton of stuff and it is mostly traditional egyptian styled things, but they have a wall of AF and some Nakhla and SB. And thanks for the leads!
6. Don't you have to be at least 18 to work in such an environment? Not to mention customers. A consenting adult has the right to choose to work for a company or not. I mean honestly no one is forced to work in a hookah lounge - it isn't like it's your only option. Just saying...
7. So I am new to hookahs and having trouble finding reputable web sites to shop from. I have so far used three sites: saharasmoke, hookahcompany, and hookah-life. I know of hookahjohn from the forum, but I was hoping to tap the collective mind of this forum for more places to buy online. Also, I live in DC and wonder if anyone knows of any retailers in the surrounding areas that are legitimate. So far I know only of Khan El Khalili in NoVA.
8. I had doctor tell me once that your breathe in more carcinogens driving to work than you do with hookah. So who knows.
9. I stayed home all day yesterday to wait for a package from UPS - only to miss it. I was literally sitting in the doorway smoking Al-Fakher, waiting for the knock. At one point someone walks up the stairwell, then walks back down. I open the door to find one of those notes saying I wasn't there. He had checked off "Third and Final Attempt". So when I call UPS to schedule a pick up, they tell me they already shipped it back to the sender. Oh, and it was the first attempt. Now I have to pay more to have my packages sent back to me when they were literally at my door yesterday. I hate UPS.
