1. OK thx guys, I guess my purchases tomorrow are Irish Cream and Pineapple! Love this forum and will do reviews when I get them!
2. I've heard some people that sb coconut gave you some kind of deep milky mixer flavor so that got me really interested. There is A LITTLE of starbuzz here in Mexico but as usual its really expensive. I just wanted to buy two tins as a gift for end of semester. He still has some Irish Cream so I better snatch it from his hands lol. The other 2 flavors that I had as a back up plan where sour apple (i really love green rolly ranchers) but I've heard so so reviews and SB Pineapple which is said to be amazing.
3. Hey guys sorry I had to make a thread about this, but searching starbuzz coconut gave me hundreds of pages because everyone uses COCONUT coals.... or I just suck searching. Anyhow, I was just wondering what people thought about this two flavors. I read the amazingly in depth starbuzz thread and said coconut was a bad flavor. However, many people say great things about this or JM's coconut. Irish Cream was hyped so much a few years ago and I never got to try it but now I have the means. So are they good flavors? I want coconut to just give me some creamy goodness as a mixer and Irish Cream to be amazing enough so my gf can smoke hookah with me more often.
4. Thanks for all the tips. I really hope I get some level of buzz with Peach Iced Tea. I'll also give it another go to my Pear with the alien. It's really wierd because we even had Desli Murli which is a bomb, and didn't get any buzz from that. This week being my final run for the semester, a perfect afternoon on the amazing roof of a buddies house with (fingers crossed) an amazing peach iced tea and a relaxing buzz is all I'm asking for haha.
5. I'm fairly new to HF, but you guys have this aura that makes one incredibly curious of a mystical place called tangiers. I've tried 4 lucid flavors and 1 noir. A buddy of mine is coming back to mexico from the states for summer vacation, along with some hookah supplies I bought. From H-S I purchased: Social Smoke Mobster (this better be good). From Hookah John I got: his alien mini as my small tangiers phunnel died, a glass mouthpiece and tangiers iced peach tea noir. I was anticipating with my buddies a few months ago to get our asses kicked from Tangiers Noir buzz. We get pretty buzzed with Nakhla and to think of somehting with a bigger punch was scary in a good way. So we got Tangiers Pear, let it acclimate and smoked it. The flavor was great but we didn't get buzzed. I was even chain smoking it and my friends now think I just like to exaggerate everything hookah related. Is there a reason for this? Also I've seen pics where people smoke tangiers with two CH nats. I've always had to cut them in half or it would get super harsh. But by cutting them they ash so much and don't last as long. Are there any tips so I can achieve the perfect tangiers nirvana?
6. One flavor I really want is agua de jamaica, another popular mexican drink. Come on Eric, you nailed Horchata I have faith you will make an awesome Jamaica!!!! On the other hand there are several Asian drinks I love that would suit well for the sweet fruity shisha loving people. Drinks like: Ramune, Milkis, a rice punch called Shikhe, and of course the best of all THIS: P.S. Im totally lying about the last one, but its not THAT bad, tried it when I visited Japan. It's like eating hot dogs bathed in maple syrup. It wouldn't taste THAT bad but you'll probably get sick.
7. In the movie "Edge of Darkness", when Mel Gibson goes to his daughter's bf house. You can see a little hookah in the background.
8. From the lists you guys put, the strongest I've had is Nakhla... and I just ordered some regular Tangiers and Desi Murli. I'm scared lol
9.
Other Comments: I've smoked at hookah bars in Korea and Qatar, some random hookah owners in Afghanistan and Kuwait, and one in the Philippines. No idea what brands I was smoking, but it definitely wasn't a mass production brand most of the time.
Did you go to a Hookah Bar in Korea called "Rainbow"?
10. I'm going to be biased but first of all I had my QT for almost 2 years before I got my Al Fakher. I loved that thing but decided I wanted to see all the fuzz about the AF hookahs and wanted a little bigger one for social smokes. I was pretty much blown away when my buddy brought my new hookah from the states to my hands. The pull is so much easier, rather than be marveled at the new starbuzz I was smoking I was just puffing away because it was so freaking easy and nice. The cooler smoke does take a positive impact after you smoke from a QT for such a long time that makes it less harsh. However I still love my QT and don't regret our days together. Plus having to use my AF all the time I miss cleaning hookah gear in the sink not the shower
