My first smoke was TERRIBLE. we smoked out of a two hose inhale that was leaking, we used a cigarette lighter on some weird brand of shisha, but somehow at the time I still enjoyed it. Hijack: I have a pesky neighbor that smokes nht and threatens my grandmother about 4 times weekly, uses racial slurs against my roommates, and took out our mailbox with a baseball bat. We got him locked up once but when he got out he was worse. PROBLEM SOLVED: signed him up for a few "interesting free publications" (IE gay newsletters, little people monthly, penis enlargement scams, the whole works) so his dad saw. I was looking at those... I hope he still has one left on my next paycheck because I just bought a Nour from HJ. I forgot a narb wouldn't fit one of those, but I may just sand down the hose to make it fit.

It's impossible for me to get a job most anywhere as I have 1" tunnels. Thank god for college and tattoo apprenticeships until my insurance kicks in so I can get these sewn up. I started gauging at 14, and I told myself I was gonna stop at 6s. Then I was gonna stop at 00s. Then 1/2". 5/8". 7/8". And now I finally reached an Inch where I've been sitting at for a year or two. Thank god I work in a tattoo shop. I loved mine for aesthetics at first but if i could go back in time and prevent myself from getting all my piercings (snakebites, angelbites, septum, nostril, everything that was pierceable at one point or another) I would smack the shit out of myself. I still love mine to death, and if it was a perfect world we wouldn't be judged on our physical appearance right out of the gate, but sadly they'll still deny you a job because of it...

for me, i believe in a higher power although i do not feel a need to label it as "him", "God", ect. and in my prayers i basically expand on the serenity prayer (God, grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change, the courage to change the things i can, and the wisdom to know the difference). the power of surrender is huge for me, when i personally feel like i cannot handle a situation, i let my higher power take over and leave it in his hands. prayer has helped me immeasurably, but i would never try to press that on someone else. it all comes down to what you feel comfortable with and your religious or spiritual beliefs, and yours do not affect mine. you don't have anything to lose by trying, though.

so, i had to stop smoking hookah for a few months (my house was broken into and everyone of my hookahs except for my stashed QT was lifted). i went onto hookahjohn the other day to look for a new replacement bowl and hose for the QT (because apparently they stole that and not the hookah itself) and i noticed the tangiers small phunnel is back. any new hookah stuff hit the market since june that i'm not aware of? because i wanna get back into the hobby full swing. what i'm trying to figure out is if i can make the hose and still have the ability to purge the hookah. the mya autoseal valves prevent this, i think..

I was thinking of making a hose for my KM that split down the middle via a PVC connector, leading to two separate hoses. has this been done before? and if i was gonna make this, the best dimensions for the tubing are 1/2" right?

i have the OG Tri Metal and it's the best smoking hookah i've ever used.

[/quote] +1 for these. i use them more than my cocos because of convenience, they impart no taste, and they burn much longer and ash less than most QLs. hands down the best QLs i've ever used, and a really good price.

i got the koke along with some maraschino cherry for a mixer with it. as i am typing this my whole room smells like soy sauce and cherries i have to wait approx. 24 hours before i smoke this, right? because before i waited a whole day and i didn't get much flavor out of the Cocoa. my brand new KM needs some lovin'
