1. Back in college I used to study Kung Fu, wing chun to be exact. I also played competitive paintball, and my nickname was kungfufighter. My name is mike, and kungfufighter eventually got shortened to mikefu. True story.
2.
How many coals?
I used 2 coconut coals first, then tried again with 2 halves, both in a standard egyptian, and then the third time used 2 halves in a mini phunnel. All were really harsh. As soon as it heated enough to smoke even a little it got super anisey and harsh at the same time. It was super juicy, like more than normal AF, i'm wondering if i was just smoking boiling glycerine...
3. I like to spend time with my wife and kids, hang out with friends, play disc golf and ultimate frisbee, a little airsoft, and eat adventerously.
4. I smoke a fair amount of AW, and have never had any trouble getting it to smoke. I either pack loosely in a traditional bowl or tighter in a phunnel/vortex and use 2 coco coals. Let it heat up before smoking, and if it starts to get harsh move the coals our further or remove one altogether. AW does not smoke as thick as Tangiers or a super goopy shisha like Starbuzz, but you should still be able to get some pretty bomber clouds and enough buzz to make standing up difficult until you breathe some good 'ol O2 for a while. I have no idea what the performance is like with the coals you have, but AW does pretty well with heat. I'd say push the heat to see if it will thicken, and if you toast it, then start over.

6. I really like nakhla Double apple and Bahraini apple, but am always looking to expand my apple horizons. I fired up a bowl of AF dbl apple, and no matter what I did, low heat, high heat, acclimation, etc, it was super harsh. no burned taste, in fact it was quite tasty, very deep anise base and apple overtones, but it just burned like I was smoking a filterless cigarette. Anybody else have this experience? It was really fresh shisha, and I was using an alien mini and coconut coals.

8.
I bought a Km caramana from them, it is legit. I think what they do is buy the stems and trays from Km and then fit it to a generic Egyptian base and hose, with a standard clay bowl. Since km doesn't make their own vases anyway, you are getting an almost complete legit Km, sans hose, for the price of just the stem from anywhere else I've seen. The one i have fits together very well, plus they threw in a couple extra hose and bowl grommets, some crappy tongs, mouth piece covers, 2 cleaning brushes, some herbal shisha, and a puppy. Ok, no puppy. But even without the puppy i was very happy. Do it. Do it now!
To clarify, I mean that even though some km vases have "khalil mamoon" on them, they aren't made by km, but outsourced. So the vase caravan gives you is the same quality, etc.

12. Director for a teen outreach ministry.
13. Id say a creme brûlée flavor, or bacon/maple syrup. *salivates*
14. Oh, and peach is amazing but does have a bit of a floralness to it, and lemon is really good as well.
15. I think Mizo is the best shisha out there, except for tangiers. The guava mixed with watermelon is nearly heavenly. Hands down one of the best flavors/combos to ever pass my lips. The mint is great also, and tastes like a peppermint tea mixed with spearmint flavor, but the flavor is waaaayy overshadowed by the intense cooling of your throat and lungs. It's like smoking menthol cigarettes dipped in vicks vaporub. I like it as a mixer, but have to be in the mood to smoke it straight. AF mint is a lot better straight, in my opinion.
16. Nice choice on the Mya. My first was a little Mya and I still use it when I don't wanna clean my Km. It smokes very well. As far as storing goes, I use gladware stackable plastic tubs that have screw on lids. They stack nicely when full, are airtight, unbreakable, and relatively cheap. You can get a 3 pack for around $3 at walmart. They rock and come in several sizes.
17. Thanks, gents. I have enjoyed it immensely thus far and I am sure I will continue to. Its great to have a place to find hookah tips and reviews! Happy smoking to you as well! Just got an order of desi murli in today and will give it a go tomorrow. I will review the 4 flavors as I try and consider them.
18. Tangiers Kashmir cherry, nakhla Mizo guava and watermelon mixed 50/50 for guavamelon, nakhla Mizo peach, AF Golden Esk. Apple, and nakhla double apple.
19. I believe that within us is an innate need to be connected to that which is beyond us. I believe that "beyond us ness" is the echo of our creator, in whose image we are made, and to whom we were originally to be in commune with. So prayer, whether spontaneous or planned, is our residual connectedness to God and His image crying out for reconnection. So yes, I believe your prayer was heard and that it was impacting, whether on your friends outcome, your personal self, or both.
20. I'm German, Danish, Belgian, and Jewish, in that decending order of percentage.
21. I bought a KM from Caravan also, they are legit and really nice folks. I got a KM single pear (caramana) for $60, it came with a crappy hose, but that was easily remedied...
22. I havent had a charcoal taste with AW in a phunnel unless it gets too hot, which can be easy to achieve if you throw too much coal on... I did have the fig flavor get really ashy once and I thought i did everything right, but it was a discounted outdated batch...maybe you have a batch thats old or extra dry?
23. Carpet, only the stuff on top. Wood or linoleum, depends on how clean. Would use all i could, for sure.
24. Nakhla Bahraini apple (in jar) Hookah: Km single pear Bowl: Alien mini phunnel Screen/Foil: reynolds HD Hose: nammor Coals: hj coconut Base Liquid: h2o Appearance: pretty normal nakhla cut, undyed and unwashed, moist, but sticky moist, not wet, akin to tangiers stickiness Nicotine: .5% Base: molasses? Smell: great, nice sweet apple and rich anise Taste: mellow anise and sweet apple with a bit of an almost almond flavor Smoke: lots Buzz: pretty rockin' Duration: 1.5 hours Purchased From: hookah-shisha Overall: 9/10. This is really good stuff! It starts out strong with a nice red apple and anise smoothness, anise on the inhale and apple on the way out. Not as flavorful as DA, but really good nonetheless.
