Thanks for the idea's and suggestions guys, my hookah isn't missing a bearing. I've been smoking out of it and it works like a champ. To plug the other side, i went to a online vendor and a 99 cent plug had 21$ shipping on it. That was insane. So i went to my dollar store and i bought baby bottle nipple tops and i just plugged it with that. I know it sounds weird but it works really well and it really doesn't look that bad. =)

Thankyou very much, i never realized how much of a amature i really am, your help was really helpful. Another question though, say i only feel like using one hose because im home alone and i dont have friends over, would i have to cover the other opening? if so what do i have to cover it with?

So i bought a new hookah today, the man told me that it was a egyptian hookah and it was only 40$ i couldnt let that slip by. He said that it was all stainless steel and this would be the last hookah i would need. I brought it home and then i discovered that the hookah has no ball bearings or grommets for the hookah hose. Is this a useless hookah? did i get ripped off.

i don't know if this will help, but i just quit smoking cigarettes about a week ago. I use to smoke 5-6 a day, and ever since i stopped i didnt have any more coughing, and no more of that phlegm in my throat which is awesome. I never coughed or had any build up of phlegm smoking my hookah at all. Plus when i quit smoking cigarettes i invested that money into hookah. =)

Instead of using the tube clamps and stuff, what i did was i ripped apart my hose and i brought the wooden pieces with me into the hardware store and i tried to fit it in many different tubing sizes untill i got a snugg fit. So everytime i wash it i take off the wooden parts and just wash the hose. I have gotten no hose leaks at all. For me the hose size was a 1/2 inch.

i know both of my hookahs are just cheap china hookahs but they are all i can afford at the moment. im hoping to be able to get a KM or something soon. The red one was my first hookah, untill my dog decided to knock it down. Hi, im new to this forum, i've been going on it as a guest and I've finally decided to join. A little bit about myself, my name's an, im from toronto ontario and i only like smoking herbal shisha. i've tried fakher and al nakhla and i really hated them both. i feel as if they left a bad taste in my mouth. so hopefully you guys can welcome a herbal shisha smoker to this forum.
