I've tried it all. Best solution, get a new hose, or get a washable one. There are very cheap plastic options that don't feel as good but get the job done.

It's not the romman, sorry haters. We used my friends and it smokes fine all the time. A bud in chat helped me figure out it was just bowl heat getting out of control. Thanks for the posts.

I have a smaller hookah, and using roman with one quicklight, after 10 minutes or so the smoke starts tasting rather foul, burnt, and really harsh. I clear it, check the bowl, and everything is go but, still harsh! I can't understand it, it seems like I didn't have this problem when I first got it. I guess I'm in the market for a new hookah.

I just don't know what to do anymore. Sometimes it hits ok, sometimes it's awful and harsh. I have a mini hookah, and quicklights from H-S. Since it's so small I only use one coal most of the time and it's fine, heat wise, but my coal stays black on the bottom, if I flip it before it gets white on top (sometimes it NEVER looks like it relights, but it is hot) then the bottom goes black before the top even gets ashy again. I've had better results flipping rarely, but what can I do? I used 2 broken up around the edge of the bowl, but even that caused very harsh hits. Other wise my setup is fine, I'm at a loss as to why it's so harsh sometimes, and I have a strong feeling it's the heat. I light one until it stops sparking, lay it on top and wait for it to get full on (the bottom never gets "full on" it seems) Any ideas? I'm frustrated.

Oh my god... is that just the hookah? I need to look into getting one of those for my next hookah...

I just had this happen with a 50g of double apple, I did wash out the hookah with soap, but I rinsed it all out, or so I though, kept hitting it... Can anything bad happen from this?

Hi guys. It's been a while! I used to post kinda/sorta and was in the chat room for a brief time. Well I'm getting tired of my mini and want to upgrade (when I first started hookah I was told hookah size does not matter, but it does. Right?) to something a little bigger. Last I checked the Mya Acrylics were cheap(ish) and built well, anyone have any ideas on some hookahs? Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Tonight is just one of those... amazing nights My wife brought home Jones Cane Suger Strawberry and Lime soda. I've been stressing over some vistors we are having over, so I put on some Romman Peach. the combo of the two just... just... I want to cry. It's the most beautiful thing ever (I'm doing it as I'm typing this) and right now, nothing can be wrong in the universe. This is what it's all about. Ever have a "perfect" session? I'm going to finish up here and go right to bed. Nothing can ruin this.

My wife came home with two boxes of Havana Mango, now, I know a good mango is hard to find, but this is just silly. Tasted like a fruit cert fart, I don't even know how to describe it, it was just awful.

Explain "foil ring"

I have a very short mini "pear" hookah (12 inches!) from H-S and it seems to hit very well... I've heard people getting good stuff out of the pumpkins as well, I think it's more of a QC issue myself.
