Ugh I don't smoke Nakhla...not after that one time. Only time hookah every made me sick. SB is very hit or miss I've found. Their raspberry I have is red, but blue mist and tangerine dream are not. Social smoke says their brand is dye free, but is their stuff any good?

Hey everyone, long time no see. So I have a friend who is allergic to red dyes. She doesn't smoke with us, but we don't like to have the risk of it being in the air with her around. Which brands don't have any red dye in them?

That really sucks. Next time, put the hookah on top of something non-flammable...give yourself a little extra protection.

It's really unfortunate when colleges' are like that. I go to University of Delaware, and fortunately they are lax here, although I did have a cop respectfully ask me what I was smoking once. He even went as far as to smell it, but no further incident.

I just went through a long, and twisted situation with the people at Hookah-Shisha. I ordered a Namoor style hose on July 25th, and due to their warehouse move, and my order quote "slipping through the cracks", it did not ship until today. At first I was pissed off to no end that this had taken so long, and especially since I'll be on vacation all of next week, and unable to retrieve the package from the shipper. However, I'm really happy to say that their CS came through big time. I got a lengthy, sincere apology on my home phone, my package is being shipped next-day air, and I was credited both my shipping cost, and given $20 in reward points. All this goes to say of course, that while their move may be causing temporary problems, their customer service is A++ and I would never hesitate to use them in the future. So if anyone is looking for a reputable site with even more reputable customer service, I'm glad to recommend H-S.

So stupid. It really isn't that hard to perform well-researched, double blind, fully controlled experiments...but no one testing hookah seems to want to bother. Propaganda for sure

For tobacco, I think a two tier system is a good call. Personally, I like layalina as a good lower tier. It's inexpensive, high quality, and many flavors. For high end, I think Tangiers is probably your best bet, just make sure you decide between regular or the lucid (washed) line, since it is known for packing a punch. For hookahs, just get a nice assortment of high quality pipes. They'll smoke better, and last longer. I would look into MYA for sure, since they are of high quality, and have a large selection.

Interesting. Layalina guava is pretty good, so I'd be down to taste some from AF too

Looks small, but depending on how far down that downstem goes, the smoke chamber might be a decent size. Only way to know is to smoke it!

Out of those, AF for sure. Been working my way through each flavor (50g box of each after I bought my hookah from them)...good stuff

I haven't been around in ages. Probably since I'm still peeved I never got my original account back (web250)...it won't let me log in still, over a year later, and they never fixed it for me So what are the latest trends, best sites still, best brands, etc.?

I've been so busy this semester, I'm smoking hookah like every other week (I preferred twice a week or so), and I never post here. Of course it doesn't help that my username is still fubar. But I just wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone. Hope all is well. Any good hookah news/gossip/brands/flavors I'm missing out on?
