There are a couple hookah bars on the Loop. Layal hookah at 6227 Delmar (on the Loop) is decent.

I think AF cinnamon is great on its own. It tastes a bit creamy, so its more apple pie style cinnamon than Big Red cinnamon. Try just smoking cinnamon once to see how it goes, I love it. Although I have had somewhat poor results mixing it. AF Esk. Apple definitely overpowers the cinnamon.

I think introducing a filter like this is going to damage the quality of your smoking experience, not improve it.

Their cinnamon is awesome.

Al Fakher Golden Grape I'm not going to bother to rate this based on a number scale. I love every other Al Fakher flavor I have smoked, but this was absolutely vile. A previous review mentioned this, and was 100% right. This shisha smells and tastes vaguely of ketchup. Avoid it. I'm struggling to get the putrid smell out of my hookah now. Gross.

I don't think you guys should publicize bans in separate threads. If you want to let the community know why someone was banned, try a sticky thread with updates. I think it's best to let the banned why they were banned and the rest just go on without them, however. You can't really make people use search, but I'm fairly certain comprehensive explanations for the questions that usually pop up already exist on the forum, so another sticky thread for that with an explicit title might work well too.

I don't like Layalina as much as most. They make some decent flavors, and smoke well, but you can definitely do better for the same price. Raspberry tastes medicinal to me. Watermelon isn't bad though.

If you don't mind spending the extra money the Nammor is worth buying. I love mine.

It's surprising that you are getting too hot with one 33mm. I use two halves of a 40mm 3 Kings and it works almost perfectly. To reiterate what everyone else has already said, acclimate, pack a ton of shisha into the phunnel, and poke a lot of small holes in the foil. Not to derail the thread, but Sonthert, you mentioned that blueberry doesn't respond well to humidity shock. Which of your flavors would you say are more resistant? I'm about to move to STL where the weather is even more humid than Philly, and am also about to order a good bit of your shisha, so I would be interested to know.

This doesn't answer your questions directly, but it might help. If you buy Al Fakher get Golden Apple Eskandarani, it's great. Nakhla has some good flavors and some bad, check the review section for more specifics (although remember that everyone's taste varies). Do yourself a favor too, and buy some Tangiers even if you are going for a lighter buzz, the flavor is really something.

Baking soda worked for me. I've noticed that different people are getting different results from the hose. Some, myself included, have found that the taste goes away almost immediately, whereas others find the taste lingers.

I've never smoked AF Mango, but Nakhla is pretty decent. Worth a try.

I think you were sort of screwed with the Nammor experience. Both of mine came scuff mark free and the taste went away very quickly. QC issues maybe, but when they get it right, they get it right.

Agreed on no IE. You almost certainly know this, but make sure you have solid anti-virus/anti-spyware installed on your computer. AVG has good anti-virus and anti-spyware for free. http://free.grisoft.com/doc/29116/us/frt/0

Just to second Chinamon's post, one 40mm quicklite broken in half placed on either side of the bowl should do it.

I would get a small and a medium phunnel and two mods. Although the phunnel seems really sturdy, I can't imagine breaking it easily.

The coal would still touch the same surface area if not less of the foil though. You'd be increasing your surface area in contact with air, which would cool, not heat.

Obviously, I have no idea how AIDS came about, but when you are trying to come up with a convincing conspiracy theory try taking Occam's razor to it.
