okay, so i bought some Chocolate Mint Starbuzz shisha not too long ago (it tastes wonderful BTW) but when i was done smoking it my hose had literally a bunch of muck left over and it took me days to clean it out it was that bad. i clean my hose almost every time i smoke so i know it wasn't overdue for a cleaning or anything. anyways, has anyone else had this problem with starbuzz? or was it something i did? or just a bad batch?

yeah, i fly from New York to Oregon a lot and i bring my hookahs, just use a lot of bubble wrap (the more the better, just to be on the safe side) and then pack it in between some of your clothes for extra padding. everytime i flew with them they were fine.

careful with it. my school suspended me for just having a hookah in my dorm. check your schools and dorms dos and don'ts. BUT a piece of advice...put a towel under your door, crack the window, and if you have a fan the better. if you do that, and are quiet, you should be good.

its in an official document written by the directors of residential life. official college employees.

the final decision is not made up to the dean, he is one vote out of 15 others pretty much. i have to go to a board of faculty, deans, and students and plead my case and then they let me know.

OK, here is an update. i wrote my letter of appeal (if anyone wants to read it, just contact me and i'll send it to you) and i think my hearing for it is on tuesday. the dean is on my side and says that this has gotten way out of hand. students and friends are signing a letter full of names to help keep me stay on campus and some protests may be in the works. i do not want to sue quite yet because i want to see if i can beat these guys on my own by prooving that this is out of hand, and not fair because nothing is clearly stated. if i am suspended, then thats where i am getting a lawyer. however, in my official document that i recieved (pretty much a debriefing of the situation written by the directors of res life) there are several false testimonials and false evidence. does anyone know if i can pin them on that? or does that not matter at the private university level? sorry for the late updates, this last week has been very stressful. thank you all for the suggestions and the help.

i go to the University of Bridgeport, which is a private university however, it is not religious affiliated. with the way i was treated and with my councler saying that the Indian and Middle Eastern students are permitted to have Narghiles/Hookahs in their dorms then i have a good chance of charging cultural discrimination. i hope it doesn't get to the point where i have to do this, but advisors and conclers have been telling me that i may have to sue.

so it was room inspections, which i wasn't aware about (i had an emergency back in Oregon) and they ripped my room apart, literally. $100 silk ties thrown on the floor like trash. my room looks like a bomb went off and they didn't put anything back. they also took all 3 of my tobacco pipes and all my premium cigars, and pipe tobacco. everything. you can smoke marijuana just about out of anything these days. rolling papers are sold in head shops too but no one looks down upon those.... it upsets me how arrogant people can be. my college is also the most international in the country. we have a whole dorm complex for Indian students...WHERE THE HOOKAH ORIGINATED. and still, they are pulling this zero tolerance nonsense. thank you guys again for your reccomendations and your support. i really appreciate it.

well you see, i researched my schools policies, and researched federal policies that of Connecticut, and the U.S. health and safety codes under paraphernalia laws and nothing states that a hookah is paraphernalia. i've been printing article after article on hookah and its history and traditions so hopefully i won't need further measures, but thank you both for the advice.

so my school is suspending me because they found a Syrian Hookah in my room, and are classifying it as drug paraphernalia. pretty crass shit. i'm trying to appeal it by saying it isn't used for weed and also for cultural discrimination (i am mediterranean) i am kind of stuck in a hole here, does anyone have any ideas of what i can do?

Acid cigars are good. i've only had the Punch Cigarillo's and those are a decent smoke. but the best cigar i've ever had is a Fonseca. very, very smooth mild smoke. long lasting. and a very clean burn. both the Cuban, and Dominican Fonseca's are great and at a reasonable price. at my local smokeshop they're about $4.00 for a churchill.

hi, i grow a bunch of organic herbs in my garden (mint, chocolate mint, lemon balm, etc...) and was wondering (although it is against hookah etiquitte) if mixing shisha with any herbs such as mint or lemon balm would taste good. any reccomendations? thoughts?
