First day with smiley's glass bowl/screen and it just seems too deep. all the tobacco doesnt burn. How many coals/what arrangement do you use? 30 for 40 mm coals? lightly packed/tightly packed tobacco? not sure if this has been posted befrore, i tried searching, but pretty much every thread has 'smiley' and 'bowl' in it, hehe.

fuck that, what's a couple of $ among hookah enthusiasts? Anyone who knows WTF is up can buy their own sink drain, haha. anyone who buys this type of shit from a distributor deserves to get owned. Also in america it doesn't matter who patents it first, if i can prove that i thought of the idea first, then it's my fuggin pattent. So...FU hookah distributors!!! The proof is right here, in this forum!!

Well, we've been playing around with different ideas for a screen. We have a small funnel bowl. Up first was a small aluminum vent, 3 inches in diameter. This item did not work well at all, and tasted like ass(like smoking pocket change!). Next time at the hardware store what do i see that looks like a possibility? ... A sink drain, yes a sink drain: This little sucker works like a charm, and looks good to boot. Nothing worse than covering your sweet bowl with alum foil. We took the middle drain plug part out, and just using the actual drain trap. Fun with pictures: Obelisk with sink drain mod(lols): Close-ups of drain screen: Our Shisha cabinent: Up next is RTV'ing the drain, so it fits air-tight on the bowl. About a month ago our hookah got stolen from the breezeway. Sad to see it go, but don't miss it at all, with our new Obilisk. We quickly burned through our shisha, and today it was like hookah-christmas. 15 tubs of al-waha, and a new medium funnel bowl delivered by the fed-ex. Just had to share in my early morning bliss. This orange-creme has been rolling strong and tasty for the past hour. If i get off my lazy ass, i'll up some pictures later. cheers!

so are all myas supposed to be that frigle or just certain models?

So first post on hookah forum (woo) anyway, some fuckers stole the hookah last night!! Now in the market for a new one, and was looking at some myas on hs. I like a lot of the black bases, but it looks as though you cant see through most of them. I'd like your opinion on this. From experience of the one hookah i've ever smoked, it was nice to be able to see through the base and see how thick the smoke was, and see when it'd dying out. You think it would make any difference?
