well this is how I do it... I sprinkle the maassell all the way to the top first, so its flush with the bowl... then I get another pinch of it with my thumb, fore, and middle finger and sprinkle that around... after I get a piece a foil... I wrap and make sure its on tight and straight on top off the bowl... I get a toothpick and I put ummm... 8 holes around the edges... 8 holes around the middle of the bowls radius... and then 1 hole dead center.... then I get the bowl and I give it little bangs on the table... I don't know why I do that... but my friend told me too I bang it on the rims and turn around as to bang all sides... then I put my hand over the foil and blow really hard... and remove my hand... (while still blowing) then I do that once again... by this time.. the foil would have been a little bit curved up due to the blowing... then I just go ahead and put it on the hookah and put 2 coals on it... I used diamante finger coals... (they crack in half to make half of a circle, it doesn't roll off that way). I put my ear close to the bowl to check if its cooking (the sizzling noise). then after a minute or 2... on my first drag on the hose... it comes out flavourful and thick white... like your exhaling a pearl... hope that helps guys... if you don't under stand something just post it up and maybe I can take a picture and show you... have fun guys I hope this method works well for you like it does me... take care...

ok... a majority of you guys say sprinkle the maassell about half way or 3/4 of the way to the top of the bowl.  I dont do it that way... I fill it like a little bit over the top....  its insane!!! because i just read that if the bowl is over packed it would burn super quick... but my maassell never got harsh since ive done that.... just once because i was learning how to regulate the heat... I find that so crazy because if its over packed all the way to the top... then my technique is overflowing the bowl.... i dont ever pack the massell in with pressure tho... the only reason it gets flat is because when i apply the foil it flattens out real nicely... If you guys wanna try it out i suggest you do... I found out that the flavor was intensified by like 2 folds... I love it... any questions? reply to the post... bye!

I wanna try the screens... I'm pretty much a noob tho... can you give me and estimate on how much coal to use? I have diamante finger coals, fumari and AF maasell... how much of each do I use... and do I pack the bowl differently? sprinkle? a tincy pack?

Hey guys Whats up? So I've been looking for Nour Coals around in the area because i didnt want to buy it online due to S/H charges... so i saw a bag that said Diamante... They look exactly like Nour coals do... (finger style) do you think they would be just as good?   Also, i personally hate black licorice taste (no offence to those of you who dont) and i read reviews about the GS AF ESK APPLE... I tried getting a 50 G from BNN, but with my luck, they ran out of it in stock nor will they be getting it again... do you guys know any other place i can get a 50 gram bag of GS AF ESK  APPLE? I've seen a 250 G but i dont wanna buy it... i wanna actually try it out first... Thanx in advanced, looking forward to your posts... Bye

can you guys help me out.... I've tried a grip of hole arrangments... some worked fine and some just didnt cut it... can you guys posts pictures or diagrams of your hole arrangements? im thinking of trying some that you experienced hookah smokers use... I just want to have the best hookah experience all the time.. thanx guys!

I have also tried to make my holes super fine b/c I saw a video by some guys who made the holes really small... I actually tried sprinkling the massell on about 1/2 to 3/4 full. I was using 3 kings coal and ash got in.... maybe I needed holes a little smaller. but besides the ash problem, I got good smoke and good flavor. I was smoking AF strawberry btw... before that video I was doing two things wrong....; stuffing my bowl too much, and making too many holes. now my hookah experience had gone up and I love it... I just got my order of a fumari sampler; kiwi, watermelon; sour apple; and canteloupe hope they're good... I didn't like the licorice smell of the sour apple tho... cause I hate black licorice...

lord I have a hookah about 27 inches long and the base makes up about half of it... my hose is long maybe 8'... I have both a large bowl and a regular sized bowl... I want a balance between thick smoke and flavourfull smoke... what do I do? I am using 3 kings charcoal. I was thinking a mixture of tiny holes and some slits? lets say, tiny holes everywhere, and 4 slits right on the edges of the bowls, 1 at 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock, and 9 o'clock. does that sound good to you? and how much am I supposed to pack a bowl when I used the tiny hole method? and how many coals? thanks inadvanced lord... of you reply I will update you...

well I ordered 3 flavors from fumari, watermelon, canteloupe melon, kiwi and sour apple... samplers of course! just want to try if any of them I like I will update you guys on them. I should have tried white peach, I've read posts where people claim to have liked it a lot!!! but one doode gave a 10 to watermelon so I'm glad I got that. I also have AF cherry and strawberry... I've mixed those two before... nothing special... it doesn't really blend into a noticible StrawCherry, and I haven't yet learned how to pack a bowl and regulate coal heat yet... so I wish to accomplish that before my fumari flavors get to me b/c I don't wanna smoke burnt ass tobacco rather than good evaporated moisture. I've read some helpful posts here and there in this forum, I love this place... no one here is an ass!@#$ and people actually try to help out... thanx a lot guys!

guys help me please!! I've had a hookah for like a month now, everytime i smoke it something goes wrong... my hardware is all good i know that for sure... But its always harsh... I use 2 Three Kings Coals on a regular sized bowl (not the large ones) Maybe im packing it wrong? Too high? too little? Give me an example of how much shisha goes into the bowl and how much coal i need to use... and im using 3 kings coals... Thank you for any replies!

I have to say thank you to Cypress first of all for his informative video. And what kind of mixes do you like? I havent tried any at all... will you hook me up with some mixes of yours?   Thank you Andy
