Hi guys, If someone makes a purchase on or before Sunday 12/23 - I will ship out same day and take off $10. I'm quitting the habit and would like to get rid of everything AT once as a single package. I have 30" Egyptian Hookah ($50 value), Tangiers Medium Funnel ($12 value), Tangiers Medium Original Bowl ($12 value), Green Nammor Hose ($22 value - always out of stock), Glass Scalli Mod ($6 value), 3 Kings (75% remaining, $10 value), Golden Canary Authentic Japanese Coals (unopened, $15 value), Chinese Imitation Japanese Coals (75% remaining, $4 value), Nakha Double Apple (unopened, $7 value), Nakhla Strawberry (opened last week - 75% remaining, $5 value), some Tangiers Kashmir Peach (enough left for a bowl or two), Nakhla Zaghloul (33% remaining, $2 value), Base Protector ($2 value), Cleaning Brush, Tongs. The "oldest" stuff was ordered less than 2 months ago. I've smoked the hookah no more than once a week for sessions no longer than 30 minutes (one or two exceptions). I can provide receipt of purchase of verification. Everything has been taken care of very well and is in pristine condition - I thoroughly cleaned everything with soap & water after each session. This is an excellent, fully functional set. Great for newbies. For people who already have something - they can sell this individual packages and make profit. I just want to get rid of it all hassle free. Total value of what is above is 50+12+12+22+6+10+15+4+7+4+7+5+2+2 = $158 (I have already deducted for stuff I consumed, etc). I'm selling this for $100 but the box will be large because I thoroughly cushion with bubbles, foam, etc to make sure it arrives to you undamaged. So shipping will probably cost me $15-20 hence my final price is $120 with shipping included. For my personal convenience, I will sell this all only as one package so I will unlikely send just a hookah, or just the shisha, coal, etc (and as a result I've deducted $50). Recently we've had to verify age of buyer to make sure these products are not sold to minors. I will ask you to cover your DL#, photo, anything except Name, Address, and Bday and send me a scan - I respect your privacy I hope you won't mind this request (if you want - I'll do the same on my end so you know who you're dealing with). I have sold before here and you can see the thread under completed section - excellent results. I will be more than happy to send as many detailed photos / angles you. Before sending you the package - I will send you detailed photos of how everything has been packaged so you're confident it won't arrive damaged. At the Zebra Loung in Baltimore, MD - they charge you $15 for a hookah session. You are not allowed to even move the coals! Forget about getting a new coal. Since they don't give tongs - the one time I went - I just used the steel tip of the hose.

thank you. this was my first time with tangiers - i followed your easily video and first puff - good amount of smoke. more puffs and it was pulling very well. tangiers is very easy to set up.

it worked perfectly. tangiers is the easiest shisha i have ever handled. you have to do very little. i like nakhla (nostalgic value via college) but tangiers was superior. i suspect that the many threads with guys struggling is because they're new to hookah and have started with tangiers. whereas with other shisha you have to remove stems, sprinkle lightly, etc - none of that needed with tangiers. just follow rayver's video or even the set up i had proposed. as for the scalli mod - just by looking at it you can tell it is useful. i prefer to go without it for tangiers shisha on the funnel but glad to have it handy to try out with different stuff. as soon as i just smelled the tangiers and looked at it - i could tell it'd be awesome. i hate to put nakhla as #2 - but tangiers was by far the easiest & best shisha i've used. excellent taste of flavor - not harsh at all (it is strong though - you can tell just by a whiff). 10/10. will post a review within a week (i'm lazy). the buzz was nowhere to be found - but that's because i'm just a freak lol or was out in the cold or whatever- i don't care anymore. i got the satisfying smoke i was looking for and cleaned up my bowls & shisha now to use a while later on an occasion. this stuff is good but it's a good idea to smoke occasionally.

My stuff just arrived today. Tangiers Kashmir Peach + Tangiers medium funnel bowl + Nammor Hose. I transferred all the shisha + juices into a bowl and stirred it good. The fragrance was AWESOME and seemed strong (looking forward to buzz!). I then transferred two funnel's worth of shisha into a styrofoam cup and put it in my garage tonight to acclimate for noon tomorrow. Possible light rains / frosting outside during the night can mess this up but let's give it a try. Tomorrow: Take empty medium funnel and add Scalli Mod first. Then thoroughly stir shisha in styrofoam cup and simply SCOOP shisha into the empty funnel. Will not bother to shred into pieces and LIGHTLY sprinkle like I do with Nakhla because cut & texture of Tangiers appear ready. Put plenty of shisha to fill edges & reach the top. The tobacco on top will reach the top in a manner that the foil will be VERY SLIGHTLY lumpy and not perfect flat like an underpacked bowl. Take a 1mm thick nail and poke a circle of holes around outer edge, and a circle of holes just outside Scalli Mod and avoid making a hole in the center (can't do it anyway with the mod). Place a single quarter of Golden Canary Japanese coals on each quadarant of the circle for a total of 4 quarters on the medium funnel. Will I get the perfect smoke & buzz? I tend to screw up a lot so I doubt it - but I'm pretty optimistic! Any tips?

how did you do the transfer? paypal by any chance? obviously you didnt use a credit card. yeah, bank transfer is an awful idea and the least protected by all. if you had paypal or credit card payment - you'd have this resolved at most in 2 weeks with your money back. if you wired money (tough to recover) or did a bank transfer - the best source of guidance would be to contact bank asap.

first i experimented with honey on my nakhla. worked wonders with the nakhla strabwerry, thick clouds of smoke for a long time (although this is also the first time i stirred the shisha so that could be the reason instead - usually i'd take the most moist tobacco to avoid stirring but will stir from now on). it also extended the life of the zaghloul. on the downside, and maybe it is cause i got overzealous with honey (i OBVIOUSLY did), black honey & tar just oozed out of the bowl onto the stem and base. i'm sure adding honey increases tar production big time..so don't overdo it.

my funnel should arrive friday...if i use honey to moist the nakhla...would the funnel work? i'll give it a try at least unless someone already tried and had poor results...

Easy question. Nakha Double Apple. It was the standard in college and the single most popular shisha around campus. At an Indian store near campus, it'd cost $5 for 250g!

Yes, please do! It is likely that you use different tobacco and so each is an individual case, but I'm sure I can learn a few things from your recipes anyway. I myself have Nakhla as the standard with current flavors strawberry, double apple, and margarita. I find the strawberry to be on the dry side so I want to soak it in honey and / or glycerine. I'd like to hear your recipes. Thanks!

just as a test, can you DIRECTLY heat the tobacco and see if you get smoke or if it heats up? either stick some shisha above a lighter or plop coals directly on shisha without foils - you should observe smoke. if not - then your shisha is surely flawed.

I spent roughly $200. I didn't refrain in getting what I wanted because I don't believe in compromising to the point where you spend a lot but there's still that other item you wanted. I get them all and then shut up. I also brought some stuff (like the Nammor) to take into account the resale value. Nammors are always sold out so I could sell mine for 18 easy should I want to later on. I get my money back plus enjoy quality the whole time whereas with a cheaper hose you won't be able to resell. Same thing with the Tangiers bowls. I also have everything so at any whim I dont' feel limited or if someone suggests e.g. use 3 Kings instead of Japanese...I can do that. I know I don't sound convincing (lol), but my goal is to smoke occasionally (once in 3 months or longer) because this is so so bad for health. I just got my hookah a month ago and have yet to experience a good buzz. When I do - then I'll be happy enough to put away the hookah and take a break as promised! I'm hoping this stuff (with my intended routine) lasts for years. This is a lot.

what are tangiers and nakhla based on? i did not realize that honey, molasses, and glycerol were so similar. in that case, first i'll try molasses, then honey, and as a last resort, look for good based glycerine (good advice). thanks!
