Wtb KM trimetal. I recently sold my Exotica and I'm looking for something that's not as big and bulky. I like blue and gold a lot and would love to snatch up a Tri Metal in those colors.

So recently my KM base busted and I was looking for a new base online to buy. I found one at got-hookahs and also one at hookahjohn.com. The hookah john base was about $6 cheaper than the other and the picture looked pretty legit so I decided to go ahead an purchase it. I also bought new base grommets to go with it. Upon receiving the package I was less than happy to see that my KM base looks as if it had some sort of paint job on it instead of the frosted-ish glass. I also notice there was a distinct lack of khalil mamoon logo and arabic writing on the opposite side. The 'lion' on it is also pretty badly painted. I was further dismayed to find that the 'km base grommets' do not fit at all, they're much too small and oddly fit my MZ perfectly. I find myself wondering if the base is a fake or something. To it's credit it's very heavy and as thick as my original km base. So....has anyone else had this experience with hookah john product and is this a legit km base? I know km's are sometimes fickle about putting logos on things. Mind you, I'm in no way trying to insinuate negativity about the company's products, I'm just wondering if mayhaps I should send it back or not for a refund. thanks in advance.

I don't disagree with any of you but what I'm looking for is an analytical document showing the percentage releases of gases from hookah coal. I saw a few floating around here a good year ago but I can't for the life of me find them online. The numbers I'm looking for are usually in documents of studies conducted by medical organizations.

I ran out of coals the other night and a sculpture major friend of mine suggested using coke (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coke_(fuel) for reference). I immediately objected as my general understanding is that one danger of using coke forges (we dabble in blacksmithing) is the amount of carbon monoxide and sulfur that it puts off and how toxic that is if not properly ventilated. The idea of directly inhaling that is ridiculous. This started a debate and we both shrugged it off. Point being, does anyone know where I can obtain an analysis of some sort of the percentages of carbon monoxide and/or sulfur released by natural hookah coals like Nara's so that I can contrast it to forge coke. I'd appreciate any other percentages and numbers you guys could throw in for the related arguement as the only thing my friend listens to is the quoting of numbers.
