To Smoke Or Not To Smoke, That Is The Question.

Tempted to open some Al Fakher I have sitting unopened in my closet along with some three kings coals.

Why is this so tempting.

I have told myself I wouldn't smoke anymore but it's on my mind lately so I don't know what to do.

I say try it.. if you have a good session and like it then stick with it, if its a bad smoke and you decide it is just not for you anymore than sell your stuff so you wont be temped anymore..

Well I dunno about that shifty, I've never felt 'addicted' to hookah. Honestly if I needed to for some reason I could quit smoking hookah without ever feeling like I needed to. It's more of a mind thing for me, I just enjoy doing it tongue.gif

But anyway, jerjer, you should umm... stick to what you told youself and donate that shisha to a good cause... ie: me rolleyes.gif

I've only felt tempted to do it when it was around me. I'd say get rid of your shisha so you have nothing around you to be tempted for.

I'm not sure that's true, I don't have to have cigars or hookah around me to want a smoke... in fact when I don't have them around me I often get a strong urge (mental, not physical!) to have a smoke. Might just be me, but having smokes around makes me generally crave it less, kinda like sex... if you have it constantly you might not always crave it as much, stresses on the word might. hehe

I quit in the first place because I quit smoking cigarettes. I smoked cigarettes for around eight years and I had quit for a year before I started that again. Before I re-started cigarettes I had got into hookah and enjoyed it. I found hookah a much better experience. Cleaner and more enjoyable. I told myself when I quit cigarettes I would still smoke hookah but I knew that I would probably stop smoking hookah too just because I would be quitting cigarettes.. sure enough I somehow quit that too.

I think it happened because I would go a day with no cigarette and think that if I kept going not smoking anything would make those cravings go away. It was so hard..lol. Now that I think of it hookah would have made that MUCH easier. I should have kept doing hookah then I would not feel quilty smoking it now and I would be able to enjoy my shisha that I have bought.

I had told some people that I would not smoke anymore so that's probably why it is hard for me to get back into it. They are concerned about me. I told my mom that I had hookahs though and explained all that to her. She is fine with me having them. Seriously people your moms will understand. Not sure about your dads but I say tell them if you haven't. It made me feel much better about having it and doing it. She had thought it was for drugs when I was doing it once so now that I told her what it is used for it's better.

As for me wanting to smoke hookah again. I so want to. I keep thinking about it. I still don't know whether to or not. I might. I might not. I didn't have this guilt feeling in me before but now I do. It sucks. Keep smoking everyone.. I so miss it. dry.gif If you are going to say "If you miss it why not go smoke some then.." If only it was that easy... it just isn't for some reason.
