CarlKillerMiller
So, I'm looking around to buy my own hookah. It'll mostly be used between myself and a few friends, so I don't think that I need a tall one, or anything. After hearing a lot of good things, I've narrowed it down to those three, all of which are at a pretty comparable price from hookah-shisha. Which do you guys think is the best to go with? Oh, and do you have any other suggestions for smaller-sized hookahs at comparable prices? Thanks in advance!
imagelessdude
I have the Mini-Acrylic. Amazing hookah. I would definitely recommend it. But the QT and Bambino are easier to set up.. its easier to get a airtight seal.
ghostofdavid
QT for looks, Bambino for function...or small Egyptian to not look like a n00b !!!My second hookah was a QT and it is pretty nice.. the Bambino has slighly warmer smoke than the QT but has a better purge valve. The vase that comes with the newer Mya acrylics is too crappy.. they used to come with the same large acrylic vases as the larger ones... not so much anymore. But if you want traditional, you can get a decent traditional hookah for a bit more than a QT/Bambino. Twang
Bambino for portability and easy clean up but normal size if those factors don't matter.
newsman
I have three egyptians and a Bambino, and I think that the Bambino smokes just as well as any of the others. On principle, I think your first hoookah should be an egyptian, but if not, you won't go wrong with the Bambino (on the plus side, it's really portable). CarlKillerMiller
Hm, for those of you that are suggesting an egyptian hookah, what are you guys thinking? Do you have a specific one that's not too terribly expensive?
