misterbeetz
I keep seeing this craze about phunnels (sp?) and scalli mods. What do the phunnel bowls do differently? Do you get a better smoke from them? What are Scalli mods?- misterbeetz

misterbeetz
SEARCH: Its whats on my tombstone.Welcome to the other end of the stick, and essentially the forum world for that matter. Cmon MrBubbler! you gave a good reply to my other post... why crap out on me now if you could have said the same thing in regards to that one?lol, seriously though, sifting through about a hundred replies to figure out all the details is painful (if you started out clueless like i was). Its especially inconvenient since there are no pinned threads on the subject. Maybe Mush will be interested in having general equipment descriptions pinned in the product section of this forum. But please don't educate me based on your assumption that I am lazy and on your percieved notion of forum etiquette. I regularly help newbies in this fashion in a couple other forums because I know what it is like to be excited on something new and to desire alot of information regarding the subject in the shortest amount of time possible. If im fed up with replying on a certain topic then, rather than droping a rude reply on a new post or tell them that "search is their friend", I just move along and mind my buisness. Rather than searching for and posting a bunch of links which may or may not have the answer that the person is looking for, I write the answer in a conscice few sentences in less time than it would have taken me to find those old links in the first place. In actuality, by posting the answer yourself, you save time in the future because curious newbies later on will find the good answer you provided through the search (you want them to use) rather than stumble upon threads filled with "search is your friend" and then post their question anyway. The good answer can additonally then be linked to in the future to save everyone some headache. Things are so much different when looking from the top downward. kornkitten42
you see.... with this mod, we got lots of people asking probably about 1 a day. If you go back a couple of pages you'll find it. since everyone just posts their questions, instead of using the search. we get repeat questions on just about everything daily. Theres plenty of examples just on the front page of the mb alone......My reply to you wasnt as rude as most forums because instead of just SEARCH i actually took the time, and looked for them, and then provided you with KEY search words to help you find what you were looking for if i didn't help you.Try going on the Srt forums, or any band forum or 90% of forums period, and you will get flamed out instantly for this. i didn't flame you. just said..... you were lazy because you wanted us to do the work for you. In the links that i provided you, i set you up with 1 what it is, 2 where to get it, 3 how to set it upNow... Sorry. I was new here once as well but instead of asking questionsabout the mod, i actually took the time to look it up and found more information about it. and then bought it."by posting the answer yourself, you save time in the future because curious newbies later on will find the good answer you provided through the search (you want them to use) " - this has all ready been done... so why dont you search for it you're not the only person that has asked for this answer, we have done this over and over again... so in turn, not being mean when i say this, but if the links i provided do not met what you need, please take your advice in short....AGAIN.....it redirects airflow through the shisha into the phunnel for a thicker , tastier, long lasting smoke(in most peoples opinion) and is awesome.btw... i did this in a couple areas on this board with people who had questions that have been duplicated over the past few days, i simply put links and then the key search to find more posts on the subject. That is very helpful to most, sorry if you didn't think so. Edited April 18, 2007 by kornkitten42
