billy
I always smoke in my bedroom, it doesnt leave any smoke around unless you have the window open. 1 thing to make sure you dont drop the coals onto the carpet if you have carpet
Akkbar
i find i have to keep the window open and the door closed for at least 4 hours before the smell goes down to an acceptable level... not fully gone, mind you. I can't figure that out, as I smoke in my buddy's living room all the time, and it never smells. Maybe it has something to do with what is in the room...? Perhaps blankets and such absorb smoke and smell. Edited April 19, 2007 by Akkbar
lillayzee
thats true, it may be absorbed by curtains and blankets...didnt think of that lol...thanks guys
ASUSEAN1
its not going to make your place smell, just open a window and dont drop coals on your carpet, maybe even lay down some towels or something.
Brad
I smoked in my room for about a year ...the overall smell didn\'t linger for too long, but when I moved out I did notice that everything like pillows, clothes or anything made of cloth had a musty hookah smell. Forgetting to take the coals off the bowl when you\'re done smoking will make the room smell much worse (my girlfriend ALWAYS forgot =/).

Bean
if you are worried about people finding out about the smell, e.g. parents etc., then a good way to circumvent this is to go to your local Bath and Body works and get the oil wall plug ins. Just one of these things will smell up an entire floor of a house. Find a scent that you like and get one of the plug ins and afew refills. I do that and it covers the smell really well. Who cares if it seems "girly" atleast your room wont have that stale hookah smell.
disturbedguru
Or a scented candle...I use those big suckers in the Jars, brand doesn't matter...I smoke in my bedroom all the time, it makes my room smell like the flavor i am smoking and a little smoke...after about a hour of the candle being started it is no longer noticable...crack a window helps as well. Prevost
I smoke in my room every day.. But it depends on how many vents you have in your bedroom.. Like in the living room, it vents through every other room and goes out the doors and windows through the house, in your room it just stays there unless you have a window open.. It smells good though.. And my parents dont care if I smoke in my room, so its all gravy
ydnaHnairB
i smoked in my room for the first time last night. the room doesn't really smell any more, but my bed still smells like grape smoke.
cemab4y
I used to smoke in the bedroom all the time. I got a small exhaust fan from home depot, about $12. Placed it in the window, and it pulled 99% of the smoke out of the room. I also bought a small room air purifier. Plug it in the wall socket, and the air is pulled through a filter, and it traps the smoke and just change the cartridge once a month.
