Scalli Mod / Phunnel Bowl Question

Well i just bought that new glass scalli mod and i just have 1 little issue .. my phunnel is a medium i believe ( holds about 25-30grams with out the mod, now with the mod it holds about less then half of that.. is that normal or do I just have a small phunnel bowl that I thought was a medium? 2nd if all is good how should I light the bowl using 3 kings 40mm disks .. break 1 in half or just put 2 and 3rd is it possible that the glass mod could shatter from the heat?

My funnel is 2.65 inches across, I believe this is the small. With the scalli mod in, it holds less shish, but still enough for my smoking needs. I never place the coal directly on top of the mod however, I put it in a triangle configuration on the rim, Using jap ez lights that are little squares makes it easy.

Not sure on the size of your bowl, but the scalli mod does take up some room (I like that it does). It won't shatter from the heat. I don't use quicklights but try breaking 2 in half and put them on the edge of the bowl, evenly spaced. If it's not enough heat, add more. If it is too much, take some off.

I have a medium funnel with the glass scalli mod and it does cut down the amount of shisha, but its still enough to get 2 hours of good smoking in.

This doesnt appear to be true, on both HC and MNH mediums are shown as having 2 colors as well as the smalls. I suppose in this instance.. Size does matter, eh?

Well then lets try and figure it out.

I bought a Small from Hookah Company, It measures 2.65" across the bowl and its about 5" tall

im pretty sure the medium is 3" across
