I feel like I'm opening a HUGE can o'worms here, but I gotta get some feedback before I spend MORE money on hookah stuff - the BF is getting pissed and annoyed that I've spent way too much this year on stems, bowls, and shisha.

We broke our best clay bowl - the other two we have suck, they need wet paper towels to get a good seal. I want to get a glass bowl/phunnel.... and pick up some of that Smileys shisha as well.

I went to hit up MNH's - they are out of small glass phunnels till 4/30 & "OOS" on Smiley Wedding cake (which I so want to try) - but nargile has the 2 Smileys' I want but Smiley's bowls, not phunnels.

Ok - scream at me, beat me, kick me - but which would be a better one to go with? Smiley Bowl or MNH Phunnel? Or does anybody know where I can get both at 1 place? (Phun + Smiley Shisha)

And before ANYBODY simply says, "Just buy one here and the other there" - Read the top Paragraph. I kinda have to order both from 1 place, the BF is literay having fits!

I've used the tangiers phunnel, the smiley bowl and the mn phunnel, the smiley bowl and the tangiers bowl are tied for first in my home. Go ahead and get the smiley bowl it's a great bowl and the price at nargile club can't be beat. If you still want to get a phunnel go for the tangiers, pay with paypalor money order and sneak the package in before bf gets home.

Custom phunnel bowl at mnh, + smiley shisha dont know what he's getting more in, you could drop him a pm

MNH has large tangier bowls for 12.95 (in stock) , smalls should be in, in a couple of days.

MNH has a forum discount, but like you said they are out of wedding cake.

It's up to you on those two places, as they are the only two that i know of that sell smileys.

both offer great items.

I never tried a smiley bowl before, but other people have so check the review section and i think there was thread not to long ago maybe 4 pages back about the comparrisons of the two

1. Silly question, since you have a crap seal do you have a gromet up @ the top b4 the bowl? (If not,or crap, try to get one w/ your order (ASK if you can't find it )

2. I love my Tang. Funnel and mod, but I haven't tried the others so I can't say about them.

3. Can you get stuff shipped to work? (set up addy w/ credit card, then add to PP)

I've never used a MNH glass phunnel, but they seem that they would be too deep to thoroughly cook the shisha. I have two tangiers phunnels (small and med) with two scalli mods and I love them.

I have also used and own a smiley's bowl that I love, but get the bigger size, as the one I have is too small to smoke for more than 45 minutes. Also get the glass screen with 1 hole, as the one I have (3 holes) is hard to manage heat.

Ok, just to clear a few things up:

1) can't order to work - gov't contractor, big NO-NO
2) the seal is basicly on the new sterms I got - mainly mine. I've tried 5 different gromments and 3 different bowls and STILL NO SEAL! My BF's green hookah can atleast seal on his bowl (mostly - the wetter the shisha, the worse the seal) and the old blue eypgtian has no problem with the current bowls.
3) i did read the product review section - that's why I asked, these were the two best I saw people liked

hum, i liked the taniger's punnel alot, so maybe I'll get that instead? You can still use the scalli mod with it? Interesting.... I just want that Wedding Cake favor although.... Grr

And the problem with sneaking a second order in - he wants to see the invoce. If everything's not on the 1 sheet he's gonna flip

ok... I've narrowed it down somewhat

1) Hookah Kings (w/ discount)
They have the Tang Phunnel and Washable hoses. No Smileys Shisha. Order would run $31 w/ ship & discount for just hose/phunnel - but I'm still sans shisha.

2) MNH (w/ discount)
They are out of all phunnels (I just looked). They ONLY have the Tangiers LARGE in stock (I don't want to smoke 60-75grams of shisha @ a time so a scalli mod will have to be included). The have the Naughty Cow, Washable Hose, and Coals I like. I can wait til they get phunnels (either glass or Tangiers) and order and just loose the Wedding Cake favor (although by then, maybe they'll have some). If I order everything with Large Phunnel it would run $46 for everything. Bonus: they do have discount code. .

3) Nargile Club
They have Smiley bowl, both shishas, and hose in stock. Will run $48 for everything w/ Ship. No discount (oh well, no biggie).

My biggest questions:

1) What does the Smiley look inside? Similar to Tanigers?
2) I don't have to fill a Large Tan Phunnel to MAX to use, do i?

Personally, if I were you I would wait....or order what you want from more than one place. Sounds to me like your boyfriend needs to chill out and take some midol or something.

But besides that I would go with a phunnel and smoke starbuzz... or layalina. Whatever your pick, you gotta deal with it.

the phunnel is the greatest invention ever. With the mod it cuts on how much shisha you can put in. so i say MN FTW, great service and it actually gets there in time.

i have the large tangiers funnel and without a mod it does use a lot of shisha. I haven't bought any of the mods, i use the tealight/mod method. It takes us more space than scalli's mod which helps take up more space which allows the use for less shisha. when i use it, to fill it to capacity i'll usually use atleast 50g

Well, for now I went with Nargile (got everything but the coals). I went back to MN and now BOTH the hose & phunnel are out of stock! LOL - I can't win for trying!

But I am still gonna get a Tainger Phunnel w/ mod - next month is my B-day, the BF has promised me that I can have it - NEXT month (pouting alittle). Oh well, as the post states, damned every which way I try (but a good type of damned)
