Problem with Ball Bearing

OK I just got my Hookah in the mail.  Cheers.  Everything is good but I cant get the damn ball bearing out and it wont blow air back out of the hookah instead it just comes up to the bowl which is no good.  Can someone help me here.  It is a Sultan Junior Hookah.  So far I have tried oil...and a lot of it...toothpick, awl, knife blade, vigorous shaking.  The damn thing just will not come out.  Any Suggestion?  I was thinking some kind of solvent...perhaps some glue got in there somehow or wd40.  Tip please, I will be writing a vendor review of Taqseem after I get this sorted out and my exam tommorow taken care of.

I've been fiddling with this for a bit now and I cant even get the bearing to spin at all so i have no idea what to do

ise something like the thin cleaning brush or a coat hanger and go up
thru the stem to pop it out, thats what i had to do a few times, then
rub it aorund in some light grit sand paper running under water to
smooth it out, but i lost my ball bearing awhile ago and just use a
piece of sticky tack

I jsut tried a flashlight down the hose hole and a coathanger up one of the two holes on the bottom to see if I could somehow get it in behind the bearing but the angle is impossible I think.

we discussed this in the chat, but in case someone else has the same problem:

u need to figure out the approximate angle of the tube first then bend
the coat hanger so itll go up, or use the metal end of the cleaning
brush which is a more flexible metal and should bend on its own

you could also try the inside of a pen, the plastic ink chamber would be pretty flexible

if you can geta  goood enoguh grip you could try wd-40 and
needlenose pliers but whatever you do be careful cuz when it does come
out itll probly pop out and go flying

when you do get it tell what you did that worked

I dont know if this is gonna come out...just had my knife blade on it pretty good.  I was bending the blade a bit and the bearing wasnt budging

Well it is soaking in WD40 now, gonna let that sit for a bit while I make and eat dinner then fiddle again.  After that I gotta hit the books, last exam tommorow.

Once you get that thing out, make sure you clean it really, really good after using petrol products.

Yea I dont know if WD-40 was the best thing to use because of the
solvents in it. None the less wash is good with soapy water.  Good
luck getting that damn thing out. I think I would have used a nail and
a hammer to tap on the ball to get it loose.

whats wrong with wd 40? ive used ti get the ball unstuck and lube it, and never had any problems

You never noticed a smell or taste from the wd 40? Man, that may explain a few things.

Ya the ball is still a no go.  I think Taqseem will be sending me a replacement stem if not I am going to bash the ball through with a hammer or drill it out.

i dont put it thru the stem or anything, just on the ball
