Well I sold my hookah, I tried to work with it but it didnt give me what I wanted out of it but that didnt seem to bother my friend. I bought it for about $35 and recieved it in the mail last thursday I believe? Well I just sold it for 20 bucks while I was at the hookah bar and bought a different one while I was there for $60. I bought the new one because I loved the vanilla/orange creamsicle tasting shisha I had tonight. Youll see what I mean in the picture.

also by the way my friend asked me to buy her one while I was there tonight. My friend also got a sweet looking one. We had a 240 dollar tab at the end of the night for 3 hookahs at 60 a piece, some coals, 2 hookah sessions there and 2 250gram containers of hookah hookah shisha. Thanks goes out to Josh who bought my hookah so buying this one was possible.

Thats pretty cool, but how far down is the stem? seems like you wouldn't be able to fill it up too high

about an inch from the bottom, I tried it out yesterday and it worked amazingly so no complaints here by any means. =)

Yea, i LOVE the bases of those sahara smoke hookahs, its was the reason i bought mine. I have the 19" polka dot hookah and the quality of the base is amazing, really thick glass.

Only problem was i got one of the first hookahs that style, and my downstem was too short so it didn't smoke as well as i wanted it to, but i bought the small egyptian style stem off of social smoke and it makes a huge difference. (i also had some grommet issues, but i got the full grommet set with my new stem)

According the Jonathan of sahara smoke.

"Yeah I have heard before that some of the downstems are too short. When we actually first received the order of stems the downstem was so long that it would not fit the base, we had to maually cut the downstem shorter so it was useable to smoke out of. The last shipment the factory cut the stems for us based on the m=lenghts we gave them. you may have gotten one the older stems that we cut."

But other than that i love the hookah.

I smoked some vanilla/orange out of it today and man do I love it, the only thing is the downstem IS a little too short. The bubble where making the water come through the hosue TINY bit... I might elongate it with some stainless steel and a tig welder at my school by about a half of an inch, maybe 3/4... even though its very thin it should still melt to eachother, its just an idea but eitehr way I absolutely love my hookah and couldnt be any happier.

also if anyone is interested, they have I think 2 more there, the quality is good, but just remember its used. At puff and stuff the local bong and hookah store today, I priced the SAME swirly bluish purple one thats I had just bought for my friend, it was at $110 so if you ask me I got an amazing deal, only thing I would change is a new hose I rather not use a used one but either way it works great. I couldnt be any happier. But yeah they have two more to sell, one is red with dots on it maybe an orangish color, it was dark, and a green with like etched dots on it. I might actually buy the green vase if they dont have the stem for it for a back up since I can be clumsy from time to time, ya never know. Idunno what they go for online though, just thoguht I would offer, I wouldnt make a penny off of it.

by the way the hookahs at the hookah bar that needed elongated stems have welded stainless steel nuts on them to make them a little longer. atleast thats how it apeared.

haha I walked into the house 5 hours or more after I got done smoking the vanilla and orange, the whole house smelled like blueberry muffins. I love this thing, it smells and smokes so much better.

I really wanna try a different type of tobacco besides hookah hookah though, anyone want to mail me a bag of about 15-20 grams of there favorite smoke and label what it is I can send them a few bucks through paypal. all I can buy right now is the stuff that is local which is hookah hookah due to money issues at this point hahaha. Or else I would sample some and order some from stores online. but a baggie of tobaco in an envelope? Just dont spike it with piss or dog turds or somthing... please...... I beg you....... anyone?
