Does Anyone Know Where Else I Can Get This Hookah?

I'm new to the forum (just registered today) and i'm already loving it.

My g/f wants to get a hookah but can't spend more than $70 on it. I don't mind throwing in a few bucks as well, but what she wants is a sahara vase hookah

I can only find this shape on saharasmoke, but i've read bad reviews and i don't want to make a bad buy (especially since it's her first).
Should she buy it from there or does anyone know of a different place to buy a hookah that has a base with that shape?

If your worried about her first, maybe get starter hookah elsewhere and perhaps purchase the base from the orginial place. 2 of my hookahs are piecemealed together - I bought the bases seprately from the stems (an eyptgian base and med bohemain base). Just be careful doing it that way - I suggest getting the stem first, measuring then picking the matching base.

But hunt around the different stores - there are lots to choose from, so it it's the base she's set on - you could always get it later. And if you are new to the board, search around - there are more codes for those who look. Good luck!

The local headshop here has Sahara Smoke hookahs and their vases are amazing. I'd love to get a few of them as decorations for my house. However, their stems are high polished very thin metal. They look nice and they might perform well for a while, but I could snap the stem with my bare hands.

You can get a lot of hookah for 70+ bucks... shop around and let us know if you're interested in modern or traditional style of hookah and we can help you pick out a great one.

she's looking for a more modern looking hookah, one with a pretty base. I already own a 3 hose Egyptian hookah, so i'm pretty sure she doesn't want one. Also, we have 4 other hookahs in our house which belong to my roommates, an we all know how to take good care of the hookahs, so the thin stem shouldn't be a problem. I guess the main worry about the saharasmoke hookah would be whether the stem would fit the base properlyand allow for optimum smoke. If not that we'd have to spend more money on another stem, and just have a spare stem laying around.

i got a sahara vase hookah.. it smokes nice. As long as youre not playing football with it you shouldnt have a problem with breaking the stem.

I originally bought a sahara smoke hookah, but didn't like how it smoked with the stem so here are pictures of my hookah with the social smoke ss small stem, and it smokes sooo much better, i also added a picture comparing the two stems, the sahara smoke stem on the left and the social smoke stem on the right.

i never really looked into building it from seperate parts... did you use the mini single hose hookah stem, or the small single hose hookah stem?, cause the sahara vase says it's 7 1/2" and the the stem says it accomodates 8-9" vases.

or one of the acrylic base mya's, those have a unique shape to them and you can get them in some really cool colors
