I'm Trying Out The Shisha In The Freezer Technique

Well I put my batch of naughty cow in the freezer for about 3 hrs and now i just took it out and im letting it sit for about 20 mins.. i'll up date you then =]

My set-up is a mya qt w/ scallismod and a small phunnel tin foil and 2 3kings

well im here smoking it and eh its not a big difference, i get a minor flavor boost once a while but nothing newer than before .. if any one has any suggestions , comments or even experiences feel free to let loose

Are 2 3kings with a small phunnel and mod too much heat? I usually use japanese coals so I am trying to get used to them.

I tried this technique as well. I was using romman shisha and left it in the freezer for 45 min. It seemed to make the smoke thicker and smoother. I would definitely do it again.

quite a few people tell me that but it works perfectly for me esp when i use nakhla i get Jesus clouds, but i dont just put 2 coals on like that i cut them both in halfs so the bowl gets equal heat all around

Update: I take it it back Lol .. flavors and smooth smoke kicked in .. i love it

Smiley insisted on really mixing in the juices with the shisha a whole lot. The freezer makes it penetrate inside the tobacco.

I tried this freezer technique with smileys wedding cake and it still has no taste whatsoever. Pretty sceptical of Smileys after both flavors I have of it doesn't taste.

yeah the freezer works. make sure to let it accumulate though because yesterday i said fuck it and just packed it right away... it wasn't harsh or anything but i got little to no smoke. but if you let it sit for a little. it's awsome.

i had the same problem with peach, and my first batch of horchata. my raspberry was pretty light on flavor also but was quite good still. i know each batch is different due to the fact my buddy ordered a bunch of smileys and well his raspberry smells 10x stronger then mine and his horchata has a stronger smell to it then any horchata ive purchased in the past. peach was the same -= /

it wont take long for smiley to get it straight and i bet he gets it down pat before fumari even figures out where to start. i stopped purchasing fumari due to the last two orders being so dry every bowl would taste burnt after 30 min and all the flavors tasted different then the last and not in a good way (strong floral flavor) its a shame cause they were what i started smoking and would always have at least 500grams of random fumari on hand.

It won't work for you, it has to be the batch. I have packed so many hookahs and the only flavors to EVER not give me any flavor from them are wedding cake and bubbleberry. Even hookahhookah has more taste then this stuff. I have tried every trick suggested to me and it tastes the same every time. Granted I do love the smoke that comes off it. Very good smoke for rings

Thats where I got my fumari and it is amazingly juicy. Guess Hookah though seems to be a great store in general.

I can't really see how it would fix a flavor. And if you think it will make it smoke better well you obviously need to think about it. It needs more coals because the tobacco is colder than it should be. Therefore its not smoking properly. Its a cheating way out of fixing your heat problem. When that tobacco heats up right it will have to much heat and burn.

The only tobacco i put in the freezer (well actually i store it in the fridge) is smileys. That is the way it is stored in the store and every session I have had there is perfect..

I wouldn't try using any other tobacco. Room temperature and tuberware is what is best for every other brand..

Also make sure it is sealed tightly in the fridge or it will dry out

I have no taste whatsoever with smileys Irish Creme. I'm not about to start putting the shisha in the freezer. Thats annoying. Its a shame cause this shisha is really top notch. He really needs to work out this no flavour issue.
