wyteboy Posted May 3, 2005 Share Posted May 3, 2005 when i loosen the ball bearing on the air valve, the chamber doesn't really clear at all...i blow out a little on the hose and the chamber still doesn't really clear a lot...am I supposed to pull on the hose and clear it that way? HooKendo Posted May 3, 2005 Share Posted May 3, 2005 Yeah, a lot of people have had this same problem, and it comes down to the construction of the hookah. A lot of the time if you tighten your air valve too much, the ball gets jammed and it becomes difficult to blow out excess smoke. Next time you clean, try unscrewing the valve completely off and smack it a couple of times to get the little metal ball out (DON'T LOSE THE BALL!). After that, just place it gently in and don't screw the vavle back on all the way, as it will autoseal no matter how loosely it is screwed on. This should help a little bit...
