I was just thinking, after reading a few more of them, that it would be a cool if in the sticky, or just have a thread with a list of hookahs that are good for begginners. Every day it seems like new people come on and always ask, whats a good hookah to start with? Which is fine, I mean good idea to do a little research, but they can use product ratings or in the sticky have a short list of good hookahs for begginners. Like ones that are decently priced and quality. Just a thought

I think we should make a new thread showing all the good first time hookahs with pics included and the name of the hookah so the buyer can pick for himself and with users ratings like you said

The trouble is that this site has review sections that could help answer the "Hey, whats the best..." threads.

Some n00bs dont want to do the research. They want to be spoon fed some answers....

It is a problem... you cant go back 5 pages without finding a basic repeat of another n00bs thread.

ok..easy on the new comers. Not everyone can start as an expert. We WANT new people to keep coming, so if they ask the same questions over and over, so what? there are always people willing to help out, including pointing them to the review threads and the search engine and such.

I call for a morritorium on NOOB bashing.

I'm not "noob bashing"... I'm just saying those threads to happen all the time, and it wouyld probably be more helpful if there was stickyh so they could get their answer quicker

I doubt mush was refering to you. But yeah, those kinds of sticky threads will be coming soon. Thanks for the suggestion.

Actualy, as far as I know there is no intention of adding a sticky for hookahs themselves, you know something I don't? This is because, as was pointed out, every one has a different opinion of what makes a good Hookah, so listing a hookah and if it's good or not would be useless. Not to mention you can find the QT for instance listed under atleast 3 different names on 3 different sites kinda problems.

There is already a review section for specific hookahs (listed as pipes i think), and thats pretty much as close to individual recomondations as you are going to find.

You all got your Newcomer advice sticky.

Ok. I just figured since most people would recommend the QT as a good one to start with (with a poll to make sure?), I saw that as worthy to mention in the newcomer thread. Links to pictures of it on the Mya website could make sure they know what they are looking for? Didn't mean to offend.
