random
Alright well pretty harsh ass session. Lit up the coals, waited for a while then soon it was getting harsh as hell and i was gettin really light headed. Was using Al fakher tobacco 1 Golden quicklight, put it on the middle and heard the sizzling then soon started puffing, was good after a couple puffs with barely any smoke and was getting harsh with a little smoke too. Then when it started getting good was real harsh. I don't know why, even when the coals split and put em both on the edge it was still harsh, and even when i used 1 of the coals that were split it was harsh. My set up was a Mya QT. Also, the bowl was pretty wobbly and there is no way to get a tight seal, the grommet doesn't help, i used the grommet on my other hookah but it wouldnt fit although it would give a tigh seal. No idea why it was like this, can anyone help?tannnnnnnnnnk you very much
KillZedKill
Simple! after you pack your bowl and put the coal on, dont put the oal in the center! Put it to one side slightly, and when it needs to be moved, just push it over a little more. Also, after you pack the bowl, pull the foil upwards, to keep it off the shisha. Sizzling = not a good thing. Sizzling means your shisha is being burtn, take the coal off and drag from your hookah untill the harshness goes away, this means the shsisha has cooled off, then, try again. =] Good luck. AinSophAur
most likely burnt the shisha.
GordonMac
when i use my small bowl, sometimes i just put one coal in the center and it works fine. I think the problem for the creator of this post is that he is either using a metal screen, or put too much holes in the foil. I think a common mistake is too much holes in the foil. random
hmm ill try puting one coal slightly on the edge next time... and i wasnt using a metal screen it was foil lol but i dont think the holes were the problem, i put more holes in my other hookah and it worked fine i think i just heated it up too fastThanks Oh and... how come my bowl is so wobbly? it wont give a tight seal with the grommet Edited May 4, 2007 by random
misterbeetz
Try to create more space between the shisha and the foil/screen. I use a metal screen with a Mya bowl and pack to just a little under a half of the bowl's depth. You'll be suprised on how little shisha you need to actually smoke.- misterbeetz

melik_el_shisha
take the head off and blow out of the back of it so the shisha is not soo stuffy and more. Also, try blowin into the hookah very very slightly until you can see some smoke coming out of the head. It helps alot IMO
