MrDeception
Hey guys,I just purchased a Stargate, i used to have one that was 24" and it was great, I sold it when i moved places, but i noticed something that @ the bottom of the H20 enclosure that it started to get spots? it almost looked like spot welds, but im a huge fan of constant cleaning and the hookah (because that smell of old smoke is just plain nasty) so i have no clue what the hell it was.on to my next point The stargate i got is a 32" single hose Rotator which im acctually very very curious because i feel like its one of a kind, never seen one before. I will post how it smokes, but after reading much posts about stargate hookahs, im quite surprised about the negative comments about it leaking... Threaded is always better than just using a grommethas anyone purchased or used a 32" stargate rotator on this forum? im quite curious..

yashman19
Yeah I have a 32" rotator. I don't use it as much because it takes a while to clean, as I'm a clean freak as well, but its definitely a looker at my hookah gatherings. As for the original stargate, threaded base is nice, but the problem was that some people's bases were getting seized up, or stuck to the stem piece, or as in my case, the acrylic threads on the base got wore down from rubbing up against the metal threads of the stem.I got a new one free of charge, so now I'm careful not to prematurely pull the two pieces apart from each other, and its been holding up great ever since. But these were the main gripes people had with the stargate. I love having the traditional stargate standing next to my big boy stargate rotator
MrDeception
Just got it in the mail today and its a nice decorative piece....but there are issues that need to be address but its not worth shipping them back...for one thing, the only straight pieces in the whole hookah is the glass jar + rotating stand and the adapter piece for the hoses/vents, everything else is more crooked than ___Fill in your own joke___The small shaft that screws into the air valve/hose base, is bent, you can see that someone didn't weld it flush, also the main shaft stem isn't straight either. The brass threads were not set right in the stem itself, and finally the bowl grommet was not machined completely flushed on the bottom, so Ive just accquired the leaning tower of rotating hookah. I haven't smoked out of it yet but I will be uploading picturessome good stuff about the hookah itself, it the glass base can be totally seperated from the unit itself so you don't get that metal taste that you would in a regular stargate hookah.came with 2 hoses and all the valves have bearings in them which is nice.pictures to come soon...
