DizzyGuy
Hmm... hard one... I love coke alot and is probably what i have mostly now a days... if I need to have a diet, I go for a diet pepsi... I usually like alot of the store brands, esp the money that you save from getting them... and then there's mountain dew
jeeps613
Man it all depends- from the fountain soda machines I have gotta go with coke- but the syrup formula has to be right. From a glass bottle I would have to say tie between coke and pepsi... with nabbs(peanut butter lance cracker things for those of you not from a place that calls them that) gotta get me some DR. Pepper. Then again I guess it is all what I am craving at the time... I think mostly though I'd just rather a glass of milk. I raise cows... so yeah- support your farmers out there. Johnny_D
Well I don't know what Sierra Mist is... But I tend to go for store-brands. in fact i prefer store brand flavour soft drinks to the 'main-stream'Coupled with the fact that they are normally in the region of 50-70% cheaper than 'named' brands....JD

james
Don't drink much soda. Way too much sugar. But when I did, it was Dr. Pepper all the way. I guess I drink more diet coke than anything else.
newsman
I mostly drink iced tea, but when I do drink soda, it's usually Coke.

newsman
QUOTE (ghostofdavid @ May 7 2007, 07:20 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Root Beer (Caffeine free, FTW).I miss you, sweet, sweet Barq's...I forgot about root beer. For my money, Stewart's is hands down the best root beer out there. Not too sweet, and still served drive-in style in frosty mugs. And, caffiene free. Ghost, I'd be surprised if you aren't a fan since Stewart's has it's origins in Ohio, back in 1924. BTW, I'm not an employee of Stewart's, I just really like the stuff. ghostofdavid
Stewart's is pretty good! I appreciate the recommendation, newsman.I'm actually a Hoosier by birth (Grace of God?) and a relatively recent Ohio transplant. Hopefully, I can move back to Indiana soon. But back to rootbeer... a local stand in my hometown of Indiana called Becker's made their own root beer in the drive-in restuarant and we would go there and get frosty mugs of root beer. It was awesome. A local (Cincinnati) pizza joint makes their own rootbeer that is also very good. It is La Rosa's Homestyle Root Beer.

AKammenzind
Definitely store brands. Name brands (especially pepsi) seem to keep getting more and more carbonation to the point where I can't really taste it as well, or at least it seems the case with diet pepsi.Besides, they taste about the same to me and if it's often around half the price... why would I buy anything else?
