Hose Problem

Ahoj,
For my 17th birthday I recieved a waterpipe from my friends... Cheers! But when we tried using it, only 1 out of the 2 hoses seemed to be 'suckable'. So well I think something is blocking the hose, but I'm not sure.
My question is do I have to do something special with new bought hoses in order to get them to work or is it some mistake of the store and should I take it back?

i've never heard of anything you would have to o to get the hose to work properly. you should have gotten it ready to go. try straightening it out and looking through to see if you can see light at the end. if you can't you might have to get it exchanged or stick something down it to get the blockage out of the way.

what kind of hose do you have?

I had a hose that the wooden end tips were not drilled all the way thru and was rendered useless until I "finished" the boring.

But if you just purchased the hookah with 1 defective hose, I would see if the retailer is willing to switch out the hose.

Can't see light at the end of the hose, but tbh I'm a bit scared to try to unblock it becouse I dont want to break it (since that would spoil garantuee?).
Anyway, the hoses I have are similair to Tunsi Hookah Hose

btw, sorry for the somewhat strange English maybe, I'm from Belgium.

take it back from where u bought it and exchange it

Sometimes the holes aren't drilled through, sometimes there's some obstruction of them, sometimes its a little sawdust (take a small dry brush and brush the holes gently).Or take it back. I would.

Is it autoseal? If so, that might be it... If not, make sure you're plugging one while you suck the other

Ahoj, after reading trough, I decided that I'll take it back tomorow Kinda hope I get the chance to exchange the whole pipe for a 1-hose but we'll see.
