I'm Getting A Khalil Mamoun Hookah But Which Size Should I Get?

I'm going to buy a Khalil Mamoun hookah because I have heard good things about them and they are within my price range. But HookahCompany has either a 28" or 32" and I don't know which I should get. I know 32" will let the smoke cool more but is it overkill? I figured a poll would help me decide as well. Please feel free to comment on your choice. Thanks! Edited May 10, 2007 by aarunt1

Start with a 28". Size matters little in this case. The smaller one is 4" cheaper.

If it's not too much more I'd say go with the 34, cause you'll always look at the 28 and wonder what if I got the 34.

^Its a 32" but I get ur point. I also think what if I get the 32" and think, "what if I got the 28"?" So its kinda a gamble but I just wanna see which most people would get because I think people on here will know whats better. The 32" is only $10 more tho

i would say get the 28. I have a Khalil 36 incher and While it is a great pipe. I smoke my 28-30 inch pipes more. 28 inches is big enough that you won't notice a difference in smoke quality between the 28 and 32. Get whichever one you like the looks of more.

If you plan on transporting it around then I'd get the 28. But if you plan on letting it sit on your coffee table then get the 32.

honestly there is barely if any difference between the two it terms of the heat and or quality of the smoke. The draw will be easier on the 28 and will also be cheaper and less prone to tip over. Go for the 28.

I don't know why people try to get the tallest hookah they can find... Anything over 30in is too tall in my opinion. I got the Amer stem with the hafa base and blue khalil hose. I'm happy with it. I think anything bigger would be a pain.

Did you get your Khalil Mamoun from HookahCompany because I would actually like to do the same thing u described because I like how the Ha base is a little bit taller and the I'm fine with the Amer stem. If not I think I'll go with the 28" Amer in blue.

I have the 32" and it is awesome. It smokes like a champ. It is tall, but not too tall. Just the right height, for me at least, to have on the floor next to me and not have to move too much to maintain the coal, etc. It is tall enough (and pretty enough), however, that my friends who see it for the first time always go "whoa!". The only thing I didn't like was the hose that came with it, but that is easliy remedied. Really though, I think you'd love either one. They are really nice machines.

Yup, hookahcompany. The hafa base may be a little wider at the mouth than the Amer, not positive. But, I had to do some modifications (electrical tape, and grommet adjustments) to get it to seal right.
Here is what it looks like with the hose/stem/base I got.

What's so good about a khalil? A shop nearby made a point of saying that they had an original khalil. Are they worth getting?

Yea they're definetly worth every penny, my amir hits much better than any mya ive ever used including my 160.00 mya clonissie pyramid.

A new hookah might be coming to Hookah Company...All Brass, Egyptian...very solid. I got one and love it...its my new regular hookah. I'll see if I can get a few down there...maybe you would want to buy one.

Questions for those who have 'em; do they hit so well (easy draw) mainly because of the Hookah itself or the hose? Have you tried using the hose it comes with the Momoun with a different Hookah?

I HAVE THE RIGHT ONE @_@ is it from Halil Mamoun? (Khalil Mamoun) i thought it was just a normal hookah @_@ but it's defiently the same one only mine has a blue base.

^We got the same one as you tkato 28" Blue Amer with the same blue funnel bowl except I got the hose switched for the Hafa hose. This thing smokes soooooooo good. So much better than the crappy 16" hookah we had prior to it. Except now we are getting super lightheaded from it but I think Im getting used to it. Thanks for your help guys!
