I think it's time to try it...

My order, after careful consideration: Kashmir Peach, Blackthorn, Orange Soda, F-Line Kashmir

So the main thing is to acclimate it until it smells how it's supposed to smell, right?

Anything else I need to know?

When you place it in the bowl, stir it up in the package that you stored it in. Additionally, do not skimp on the tobacco.

Use Japanese coals for the best results. Got a phunnel? You better use it!

Hey Nofrendo,

Tangiers is somewhat different from regular tobacco. The manufacturer actually puts a lot of great details and tips on the packaging concerning the setup. Basically, aside from letting it air out for a few hours, to achieve the best taste you should pack the bowl to the top making sure the sides are completely covered. If you’re using a Phunnel Bowl, stay away from the middle when poking holes as this will make you suck in too much air, 1 small hole in the middle should be enough. Tangiers smokes best with natural charcoals such as Nour or Sultan or even better the Smiley’s Coconut Coals. If you have more in depth questions about Tangiers, the owner is really nice and if you contact him through his website they are very quick to answer, http://www.tangierstobacco.com/.

Hope this helps. wink.gif

Thanks! Actually, I just tried Smiley's coals for the first time about 5 minutes ago... I put 4 medium sized chunks on my Phunnel bowl... after smoking for about an hour and a half already with Easy Lites...

Damn, these phunnel bowls last forever! The shisha is slightly blackened on the top but still very very moist

The shisha was smiley's peach that was left over from a session last night, with some blackberry sprinkled on the top

Hard to light, but VERY slow burning

It seems like I have a pretty premium setup for Tangiers, haha everything you guys have said, I have already!

Thanks for the help, I'm really looking forward to it now

Also, the other website www.tangiers.us has even better, more help on.

Or you can PM me here.

I would avoid F-Line Kashmir if you are going to order Kashmir Peach.

Try Melon Blend or Passionfruit instead.
