I am going to place an order tonight or tomorrow, and I was wondering if anyone had any last miniute suggestions or things to think about.

southsmoke.com

Mya "The Frost" 31" single hose hookah
Golden Al Fakher Rose (250g)
Al Fakher Grape (250g)

mnhookah.com

MyaSaray Hose Adapter
Medium Phunnel bowl (with mod)

one suggestion,

read the vendor reviews on southsmoke. Specifically read ghostofdavid's experiences in buying a MYA from them. you will not get all the items that usually come packaged together from MYA for the same price.

Also, I have had them hold orders for weeks while they wait to get one of the 6 AF flavors I ordered in stock. You should be able to get the same MYA from another site, who will sell the pipe complete as MYA intended it to be with case and all accessories. for example, MNhookah just special ordered me a fairly rare MYA Cloisonne hookah, and i'm getting a great price on it. They very well may be able to order this for you and it would take about a week to get it, and you would have the satisfaction of knowing you bought it from somewhere that cares about their customers.

for the Al Fakher, I would order the 3 pack deal from hookah-shisha. With the forum discoutn it ends up being a few cents cheaper than southsmoke, and hookah-shisha also will be more responsive when tracking your order.

On the hot plate... I have the same model, and while it does get hot enough to heat up Japanese coals, it takes a while to get to that temp, and does not get hot enough to heat lump natural hardwood coals. I would get the coil burner model that Wal Mart sells if I had it to do over again. But other than that, if you only want to use Japanese coals it's a great burner.

Wherever you decide to buy from looks like you're getting some good high end stuff. Enjoy.

I think I am going to order a lot of shisha (I am thinking about getting the vortex mya and enough shisha and cools to get to $236 to get a free smaller mya with discount hopefully). I was wondering how long it would last because I think I am going to buy enough shisha for most likely over a year.

For a years worth if you smoke 20g's a day, you would need to get roughly 29 packs of 250g bags to last you one year. That's a lot of shisha. How much do you smoke day?

most hookah tobacco seems to be good for two years from the date of manufacture... so as long as the stuff you get is relatively fresh and you store it airtight and out of extreme temperatures/sunlight, you should be good to go.

Enjoy

I recommend them. I ordered the frost from them as well and recieved everything that Mya-direct itself would have sent. I checked the review section and they have all positive reviews except for g.o.d's (including mine which I posted while I was looking). In my case, I saved 40 bucks by going with southsmoke instead of Mya-direct and got free shipping on top of that. Thats pretty good in my book.

I have had mixed results with South Smoke. Both times I ordered from them, one flavor of Al Fahker was out of stock, but they called me the nexxt day, and we worked out substitutions.
They then shipped immediately, but it took a while for UPS to get from Florida to California.

If their prices are lower, I will order again.

Thanks, I think I will order from them. Although I want to make sure I can get the phunnel bowl to fit nicely on there. Do you guys think it should? Does anyone know the difference betwen the auto-seal and regular hose adaptor from hookah-shisha.com, and which one I should get with this hookah? Edited by TheAlmightyClaw

The small T-Phunnel I bought from MNH makes a perfect fit on my Frost. Im sure the same goes for the medium, in fact I'm buying a medium as well.

H-S sells both the regular and auto-seal. MNH sells the auto-seals for a buck cheaper than H-S. I'm getting two of them for my Frost. I'm afraid that I don't have prior experience with the auto-seal adapters though. I will give them a try nonetheless.

EDIT: The regular hose adapter seems to just be a regular hose port that comes standard with mya pipes.

Be careful with South Smoke. I have had some interesting dealings with them. I don't care for there Selfish attatude and lack of care for the customers. I would check out Hookah Company also. George will help you out.
