Does Mnhookah Respond To E-mails?

Recommended Posts

I have a little problem with my order and e-mailed them the other day and still haven't heard back from them. Does anyone else have trouble getting a response from them through e-mail?
I ordered a medium Mya acrylic from mnhookah and it came in the other day and i seemed to have gotten the smaller one it's only like 22 in and i was under the impression that the medium's are supposed to be 27 inches like listed on the mya saray site.

Also waiting on an email.

However, I think the site is a bit misleading. If you look at the mya website and the mnhookah picture, the one on mnhookah has the same looking stem as the small mya.
Although thats rather convenient for me as I was hoping they'd carry the smaller model. If only they'd fix the shipping calculator thing or respond to my email!

I also noticed that, but their description of it says "This Hookah comes with the chrome stem(varies from pictured).
Also I was told from several people in hookah chat that the medium hookah's from there were 27 in but like i said mine is like 22. Just kind of makes me mad because i could have got a 27 in elsewhere for pretty much the same price as this smaller one. Edited by blaze309

I just tried to place an order with MN Hookah yesterday and had the same problem with the shipping calculator. Glad I'm not the only one having problems. Ordered a couple weeks ago without issue.

Hope they straighten everything out soon!

They are responding. But I think it's only Tarik on the coal face at the moment
and I imagine he's struggling.

As a side note - i notice a few other sites have problems with shipping calculators. Seems usps have ballsed something up.

There's a surprise.

Tarik got back to me. Offered to help me go through the order with me and help place it. As generous as the offer is, I think I'm going to wait. I'm just checking around for shipping prices right now for that hookah, so I'd hate to do all the work and say "ehhhh, i think I'm gonna check somebody else first".

Hey Canuck, do you remember how much it generally costs for an order? Manitoba is probably a bit cheaper than Ontario, but I'm just trying to ballpark it here.

Have you ever had any trouble with customs?

GUYS! PRACTICALLY EVERYONE IS HAVING TROUBLE WITH THEIR CALCULATORS! For those who didn't know......Postage in the US just went up the other day (friday), so now everyone is getting screwed because all the rates have changed, and all the zone rates have changed, and yes international rates have jumped up too... not mnh fault............... and ontop of that the calculator hasn't been updated by USPS.com yet

(at least mine was when i tried to send a package , got an estimate off line and then it was off when i tried to mail it two days ago.......)

calm your britches.....jesus

and MN is awesome, they are allowed to have some issues, they have school, and work, and jobs, and lives as well... its finals week.... if you were really concerned about your stuff..... Jump in chat, they are usually in there at night......... Edited by kornkitten42

Yeah I've been having the same problem with a lack of email communication. Which I sort of find inexcusable really, I mean no matter how hectic things are it doesn't take long to respond to an email. And if a person has spent $50+ the least they deserve is to be informed about their purchase

yes, they are quick to. I think they are in college so since its time for summer breaks they might be busy with exams or something, but rest assured they will get back to you

So they are uni students running a part time business..... yep that is fan-fucking-tastic.

So are about half the internet retailers out there...smaller companies are going to show the signs of finals and the like first, where larger companies like H-S, S-S, HC and the like have more employees so a couple of guys going underground won't be noticed. The smaller companies are often based out of people's houses....larger companies have warehouses and insurance and overhead other than rent and eating lasagna from Mom's refrigerator. On the other hand, the prices are generally lower...I guess its up to the taste of the individual customer. I do agree with you on one level, it annoys me when an Amazon.com marketplace seller decides to go on vacation but keeps taking orders while they're gone with no intention of fulfilling their delivery promises. If it bothers you, go to one of the big guys, if you want to save a couple of bucks, go to the little guys. Its an age-old debate, almost as old as Shiite vs. Sunni. Edited by Officer Rod Farva

for me its not really the fact of saving a few bucks. im a college student and I am supporting their business. they have contributed greatly to this community and have shown some very outstanding business skills so far. everything will be sorted out, but i assure you that MNH is one of the best retailers out there.

glad to know someone knows how to use this technology and be ripped away from the internet for a minute.......

Preach the truth. Everyone is quick to bitch online, but are too lazy to pick up a phone.

I'm from Montreal and have ordered about 10 times from MNHookah. Just thought I'd let you know I've placed many orders both big and small and I've yet to encounter any problems at customs. Perhaps I've just been lucky, though.

all i know is if i have an issue with someone / or a business i pick up the phone.

Your points/ arguements/ concerns aren't always properly portrayed through e-mail. A phone call is the best way to go that way, they hear your voice instead of reading a complaint/ suggestion etc.

They have a phone number on their site...... just try and respect the hours of calling... like dont call after 8 their time. It's not proper etiquitte. (sp)

And what if you live in a foreign country? It doesn't seem fair for you to have to pay 5-10 dollars in international call fees just because someone can't answer an email. And I'm not just talking about MN because i have experienced email silence from a few companies. And quite simply it is inexusable. An email takes from 45 seconds to a few minutes to write if the company can't even do that then they really have no business shipping shishas all over the world.

@tangiers
I can respect some of your points. However again it doesn't take long to reply to an email and I doubt that their day consists of 16 hours study followed by 8 hours sleep. Either way I'm not that pissed off anymore but really across the board this concept of not responding to email within 24h has to stop.

uh PP........ i've had to call overseas to get information about packages from the UK, bahrain.... ETC.... if you're really that concerned pick up the phone and dial...... If they dont answer e-mails it's the next step.

Get a phone card....... That way you have already prepaid and you'll possibly have extra for a "next time" if it so happens. Edited by kornkitten42
