The King
Everyone always talks about their sessions lasting 1+ hours, but I'm usually done smoking after 45 min to an hour, sometimes only half an hour. The people I smoke with never want to smoke more than that. We really never stop smoking though, its a 2 hose and its pretty much always bubbling away. But I was wondering should I just buy a smaller bowl to save shisha, cus I know I have to be wasting it with short sessions. What bowls are good for this type of thing? teq
Wouldn't it be better to get a shallow bowl, as that'll provide the most smoke for a short session? You could always just save your money and pack the bowl less.

I guess it comes down to preference, but I like tight/deep better because you can pack a little in there and get good distance from the coals which makes it less likely to burn. The upside of this is that trying both won't eat your wallet. - misterbeetz
teq
My only concern with a deep pack is that you still end up with unused shisha on the bottom of the bowl, at least from my experience.Since he's trying to conserve shisha and his sessions don't really last all too long, he might find that a loose, shallow pack will burn thoroughly in the timeframe of his sessions. Rubi-WAC
This bowl from HookahCompany is perfect for around 30-45 min sessions. Never use it anymore, but it you would like, let me know. I know Tangiers is coming out with a new bowl idea for non-Tangiers' tobacco. It might be pretty small in diameter, I would ask him. Also, I pack my small Tangiers funnel bowl with the glass scalli mod, about 1/2 full for a short session. I do that most the time just to test out flavors.Just go for anything shallow. Hope this helps. Edited May 18, 2007 by whatsacorbin

My sessions still last over an hour becuase im pretty damn good with the heat management and you save a lot of tobacco
