Shipping And Selling Shisha

Well I have a few friends online who would like to buy some of my left over tobacc but ive never sold nor shipped anything. My question is how can I ship tobacc .. do I just walk into the post office and hand em what ever and they seal it up and ship it or what and whats a good way to process a transaction? to pay you can take a bank check, a money order (from the post office is usually the best) or paypal.
They say that you cant use paypal to purchase tobacco but if they use a debit card there should't be a problem.
have them pay you first, then you send the items




1. you take the tobacco and if it's sealed you place it into the box
2. if it's not sealed follow the instructions below :
before you put the tobacco in a box put it in a ziplock bag (double bag it to try and keep it from leaking)

3 you seal the box with tape
4Then you write his address on it and yours like you would a letter.
5.Go to the post office...
6I f they ask (which they will) there is nothing liquid, parishable or fragile or hazardous in the box. If you want to they'll ask for insurance and stuff you dont have to if you don't want too......
7 Pay for shipping.
8 give them the package

You dont have them package it. they can't. Unlessyou go to a mail store like mailboxes etc.. and they charge you an arm and a leg. Edited May 20, 2007 by kornkitten42

you'll need to package it first, then weight on the bath room scale if youhaven't got another one to weight it on.... then add an extra 9 oz to make sure youhave enough shipping on there.

USPS priority mail cost $4.60 for the 1st pound and goes up slightly for each additional pound. If you have more weight, you can use a flat rate box for about $8.50( or something close to it) and pack as much into it as you want, plus the box is free at all post offices.

Have to get licensed to sell tobacco if you want to be official, and not break any laws... Selling to friends is one thing, but you need to pay taxes on stuff, and therefore must go through the proper channels if you want to actually start a store. Maybe you can sell locally to your friends until you can make enough money to start up a mini store?
