Kicking this thread up cause I have a question. The past two nights in a row, I decided to try what you showed in the video. I put lots of Ice in the base (20-30 cubes) and then fill it to the proper place for the water. I poke lots of tiny holes in a pattern similar to what was shown. Now, when I smoke I get good think smoke immediately... but for some reason I cant smoke as long. I cant take good long hits. and the session doesn't last nearly as long cause my lungs just cant handle it. Anybody know what would cause this? I have only noticied it these past two nights since I have been using this method of preperation... so I think it has something to do with that.

Experiment to get a perfect pattern that works for you. There are alot
of different patters that work for people. Some people use the star,
then some people use a tick tack toe type, and some people use a
pattern where the majority of the holes are around a circle in the
center of the foil. Good luck.

Or you can toughen up your lungs...
But really, everyone does it differently, since you know the holes have something to do with it, start working backward towards where you used to do it and stop when you get to a place you like....
gotta love the scientific method. :-)
