I haven't had my hookah that long...i always clean it IMMEDIATELY, however last night I fell asleep and forgot I left the stem in the base with water in the base...Today I decided to run water through the stem (which I have not done in awhile) and it initial water came out was a green color, like 3 seconds later the water turned clear again and stayed that way...just wondering if this is a big problem or something I need to worry about. The stem build sup dirt, residue, etc when you smoke. its nothing to worry about, if the water turned clear and staye tdhat way it means your hookah is cleaned out.
