Someone contacted to buy some stuff off me and I need some help. This is my first time selling so I want to know the following :

If the person buy's the item off me and pays through PayPal, how do I know if the person has payed me?

Will I get a E-mail saying "Money recieved" or something along that line??

Cheers!

Yeap, both Ebay and Paypal will let you know. PayPal will send an email to the address the account is req to and Ebay's notice will be in Ebay itself - a little $ symbol in the area where the listing shows up under the Selling section under Your Ebay page.

Yes.. or you can log into your Paypal account and see if the money has arrived

The easiest way to check if you've been paid is to check your PayPal Account. You can see new transactions and such.

Report them to ebay, and relist it, because you are not getting your money, and at best (if you shipped it) you will be losing your product.

Listen to me.
K?

This.
Is.
A.
Scam.
period.
end.

Go to the website for the email address.
It is a search page.
Thus the email is not real.
If the email is not real, you will not be getting paid.

what you should have done is sent a package with a weight in it and a piece of paper reading

"Suck my Balls"

that would have been hilarious

I've seen that stuff done before, someone selling a notebook PC got this kind of message and mailed them a notebook (like for paper) with glitter and super computer stuff written on it lol. They even had people waiting for the guy to pick it up at the place he was getting it shipped so they could get pics of him.

A dude did that with a Nigerian scammer and a bunch of junk laptops and random comp parts. The scammer was misspelling the brand name of the laptops, and the dude carved the misspelled names onto to screens (I think it was Anus). I even think he took a crap on some of them. Shipped them to him at his expense. He was pissed, and said the "governor" and "clique mob" were going to come kill him. lol it was greatness. There's an entire website dedicated to it somewhere.
