dcrooksjr
Any one have one of the hand held hookahs from social smoke? I'd like to buy one but at $49.95 I wanted to know how it smokes, would it be better to buy a bambino or pumpkin?
Akkbar
http://www.hookahforum.com/index.php?showt...mp;#entry104733I have this one. A hand held hookah is not as useful as one might first think. When would you smoke it? Would you ever smoke it any time you couldnt smoke a normal sized one?I used my handheld three times, IIRC. It was great for what it was, but i thik id rather get the bambino. So i did. I have a black one, its really nice, and its small enough to use in the car (parked, of course), or a small room, and its perfect for parties because its low to the ground and less likely to get knocked over. Here's my review:http://www.hookahforum.com/Bambino-t8525.htmlSave your money and get more tobacco. Anyway, if youre dead set on a handheld, i think its more fun to make one from scratch. And if youre dead set on BUYING a handheld, get the one youre looking at. Its bigger than mine, but it looks better.Hope this helps.EDIT: Dude, its all stainless. That will get hot in a hurry. My handheld gets uncomfortable after 5 minutes Edited June 3, 2007 by Akkbar
Jamal
I'm currently using the pumpkin hookah, which ain't too bad you still have to be careful when carring it around. Just be careful when your adding your flavour not to go above the bowl, and not to create bumps and dents withing the bowl. Although my pumpkin hookah does produce alot more smoke than my normal size hookah with everything the same apart from the size.
dcrooksjr
So long as it smokes decent, mainly I just want something practical. I do security witch equals long boring nights by myself, Friday mostly when I do a 12 hour shift and theirs no one near the warehouse but me. I need something practical, I can't see my self bringing my 31" hookah with me, I like my motorcycle to, so the sultan is a no go.
3rooker
I asked the same question a few weeks ago. I was told to just forget it and get the Mya QT. So, that's what I'm doing. It'll probably be a pain in the ass and nearly impossible to manage your heat right. I'd go with the QT.TX
EvansLight
Handheld hookah = 3rd degree burn in the making. Most of the handheld ones have custom fit bowls, of some nature. So unless you make a really good foil covering for the coal, your just more or less holding a nice hot item with an even hotter peice of pain sitting on top. If you get one that takes normal bowls, then you can get a bowl with cover and latch. But still you got problems. Hookah isn't meant to be a hand held device, its meant to be smoked while sitting and chilling, and works best that way, its not a gameboy dangit XD

newsman
The Bambino is one messed-up looking little f#*r, but it's a great hitting little hookah. For the price and the size, I couldn't recommend it more...
