You can make a Mya bambino or QT smoke just as good as a Mya Vortex (27"). Unless you want it for decorative purposes, I'd rethink your decision. It would be too easy to tip over.TX

lazria
And just so you know, MYA does make 31" Hookahs - they start at $155 before shipping, but they do have them. At one time I was seriously considering one (sorta still am), they come in gold or silver. http://www.myasaray.com/store/item.asp?ITE...EPARTMENT_ID=

Mya gives a 5 year warranty on that stem because its so durable. It looks big in person, but you can adjust the stem size by taking out pieces, sort of like The King hookah on our website. For the price its a real good deal.

3rooker
QUOTE (clickhea @ Jun 3 2007, 03:58 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>how do you feel about this onehttp://www.myasaray.com/store/item.asp?ITE...EPARTMENT_ID=46Personally, I'm not a big fan of Acrylic, and the Cloisonne stems are growing on me. I personally like an improved traditional look. Like Myas. A lot of people have hookahs like that and love them. I can't knock it. I've never smoked from an acrylic hookah. The only reason I have a 27" Mya Vortex is because one of the local lounges I go to uses similar hookahs and they smoke soo good. Plus, I like the pyramid base. I also like the fact that it screws on. No need for a base grommet. Anywho, I have another hookah and it's only 19". I'm sure you've seen around here that you can get a 10" hookah to smoke as well if not better than a 30" hookah. It's just 20 more inches to risk tipping over and coals coming off, burning your floor and possible breakage of the vase. Just my opinion though.Edit: The stem is that long. It is not composed of two parts like some other Myas.TX

hookahlife
QUOTE (clickhea @ Jun 3 2007, 03:52 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>any input on the one i linked for 70 bucks?does that stem come apart as well?Hey,The Mya Acrylics are great hookahs. The stem is stainless steel so its only guaranteed for 1 year, not 5, but it is still durable and quality built. Most acrylics have a screw-on stem, unless there is something I dont know about I beleive all of the acrylics should be. At least the ones we carry on our site are. They smoke great, and although acrylic is not bullet-proof it is more durable than glass. You dont have to worry as much about dropping it or even pouring ice/coldwater in it after cleaning it with hot, because it wont shatter. They look pretty cool too, and most sites that sell them will usually include a sealable plastic shisha container for free(you can see what this looks like on our site: http://www.hookah-life.com/StoreBox/myasaray/hcm-000195.htm), thats usually how Mya packages it.Hope this helps. To be honest glass is a much better insulator than almost anything out there, but from my experience the water will stay cold for up to a couple of hours as long as your not sitting on the beach in the hot sun.Hope this helps. They smoke VERY well just like any Mya. But they have a flat bottom (which is the widest part of the base) thus giving you a VERY stable hookah. They are also thick glass. They are very well made, decorative, and smoke SO well.TX

I can't decide if I want the Amer or the Hafa.I think I want the Hafa but it's unneccesarily tall. Anywho, every time I smoke from my Vortex, it's unbelievable. Easy to get it smoke well.TX

Here is the link: http://www.hookah-life.com/StoreBox/egyptian/hel-000116.htm . The picture doesnt do it justice, because the stem is actually much more detailed than it appears. All of the stem pieces are screw on so you can take it apart for easy carrying, cleaning or to make it different sizes. It currently shows out of stock, but if your interested just PM or email us and we can work something out.Edit: Just thought I would add that this is our personal hookah. We smoke so often that this is the only one we trust not to rust or breakdown on us.Regards,MikeHookah Life
