jakescakes
Well today we purchased an acrylic hookah from the factory, along with 2 auto-seal hose adapters to convert the 1 hose into 2.The stock air-release valve worked flawlessly when one hose was attached.however when we used our 2 auto-seal hose adapters and tried to blow out the stale smoke from the chamber. . . "nothing" happened! Just felt some back pressure thats all. No smoke escaped. My question, is that normal?? We tried both ways, leaving the stock air-release valve, and taking it out when 2 hoses were in use. Which way is correct??I just want to know how you purge the smoke when 2 hoses are attached? The friendly folks at Mya explained setting up the 2 auto-seals to us, but the purge valve is the only thing. Can anyone chime in???????
The King
Well the autoseal is doing its job, as the air goes through into the base it closes your hose chamber to prevent it from happeneing. As far as i know, you cant purge 2 hose auto seal unless you remove a ball bearing from one port as sort of the master valve.
jakescakes
haha upon further pondering of the mechanism, I understand how it works. It's not suppose to purge when using two hoses since the bearing will always rest "closed" and only come up when sucking. No biggie, I get it now Edited June 5, 2007 by jakescakes
